Okay 1st you start the game as usuall. Then cick continue then when you see your character, don't click your character just yet. Look at the top (bottom screen still) see a telephone? Click on it, and click on reset clock. Thats they way how you time travel.
So i'll repaet it again:
1) click continue
2) click on tht phone
3) click on reset clock to time travel
NOTE: IT MIGHT TAME LONGER TO LOAD THE GAME.

Yes, whatever your name is that might work... But THIS works for me ALL the time. Right.
Turn on your DS and alter the time to whatever you want.
NOTE:
If you are going back in time your town will be the same! But if you're going forward, you might find that it will work.
Erm... It should work.
