Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

Hi peeps
I got a question, if you manage to shoot down a UFo with the slingshot, what do they do? I've heard they give you rare furnature or something.
And has anyone caught the fish that is right at the start of the list? What is it? Im just wondering.

Yeah its gulliver from the first game he ask you to collect 5 gears to his crashed ship so he can leave when you do he does give you a rare item

I was wondering about the fish too
