Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

I have 2 questions.
1) I have tried and tried and the cheat with money in the bank doesn't work for me. Are there any requirements?

2) If you meet someone that moved out of your town to another town will they still know you?

1) I'm not sure about that cheat but I tried it and it didn't work and some of my friends tried it and it didn't work either.

2) They should still know you.

Ok turn on you're nintedods go to your ds date thing and change it to janurary 1st 2000 and then go to you're animal crossing game and put 5000 bells or more in your bank then save then go to your nintendods date thing again and change the year from 2000 to 2099 then go back to your bank and withdraw your bells and there you are rich I hope I helped you out

Not trying to be rude and I'm not but did you save the game. turn off ds and time travel or did you use ingame time travel? Don't use ingame use ds. 1. Change date to 2000. 2. Start game. 3. Save restart to ds menu. 4. Change to 2099 start game and in your mailbox there should be a letter from town hall saying you earn 99,999 bells for the 30 day intrest. And walaa. Lol. They still know you.
