Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

Ok, I don't have this game but I'm getting it tomorow. But I don't have the wi-fi connection and I was wondering if I need it to use the friend code. Can I just type in the friend code somewhere, or do I need to get the wi-fi? Thanks

The wi-fi comes with the game.

The Wifi comes with the game, but to access it you need to be near a hotspot. Look on www.nintendowifi.com to see where the nearest hotspots in your area are, I found it really helpful so I'd recommend it.
