Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

Hi... I bought insurance for fake items and I was sold a forged painting from Redd. Is there somewhere I bring it for money or is the insurance pointless?

I'm sorry to say, but your insurance was pretty much pointless........even if you did get a forged painting, you only get 100 bells back for each painting. How much did you get the insurance for, 6000 bells or something like that? Well, thats not worth it. You have to get duped 60 times to compensate for the cost of insurance. There are only 20 paintings to collect. I'm really sorry, but it's gone, it's gone. Just keep going on with your wonderful animal crossing life. If it makes you feel any better, I did the same thing.
