Why can't I move my animal crossing:ww person over to my Let's Go To The City town?

Why can't I move my animal crossing:ww person over to my Let's Go To The City town?

It has worked before but this time, it just won't connect. Also, This time it has mentioned a 'moving van' which you don't get in WW. Does it mean it's updated somehow?

Unfortunately, you cannot move your AC:WW character to your AC: Let's go to the city (city folk). The reason is because your AC:WW is on DS and AC: Let's go to the city is on wii. So you can't connect a DS and a Wii is what I'm saying. If you have any other questions message me! ;)
