I know that you can date someone but can you marry someone in your town ? And do they send you a letter back saying they want to date you?

I have ever heard of anyone dating a town folk. But I have heard if your a girl you can date brewster (the pigeion that sells coffees in The Museum) or marry him. And if your a boy you can marry or date Mabel ( the hedgehog from the fashion shop. I hope I helped.
