Go to nook's store he will ask you to expand your house you say yes and he asks what color roof you want select one and the next day your house is bigger hope this helps for you

If it's your final mortgage then you won't be able to get a bigger house. Make sure you still go to Nook's shop though and tell him you've paid it off. There are some cheats that will get all your rooms bigger or get you a seventh room although I've never tried them so I'm not sure if they will work. I'm on the stage of paying my final mortgage of but so far I haven't bothered as I don't see the point seen as my house won't get any bigger.
