Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

How many letters can your town name have? I want to rebuild my town and am planning a name ahead of time, but I forget what the maximum number of letters cam be.

8 letters. I think it should be longer but no it's 8 letters

I strongly believe it is 8 letters because I remember having a hard time trying to figure out what name I liked that would fit the 8 spaces. Smile
