I think the only way you'll get a dog in your town, is to just get lucky! I have Alli in my town, Purrl just left (Dang!) So I am trying to get rid of her too. The best way is to just have folks leave and a new one will come. At random. Though I have had lots of cats move in.

Just try to get people to leave your town! You can do that by pushing them around, pushing them into pitfall traps, and not curing them when they're sick. It's harder then it looks though. Just be patient and keep trying.. I have Daisy and Butch who are dogs in my town and Whitney who is a wolf.

I got Biscuit,Goldie and Portia in my town and in real life I have a black cocker spaineil called Ralf but his nickname is blueboy!
