What did I do when I timed traveled and when I went back to normal time and everything had changed?? Does anybody know???

When you go forward in time, the game literally thinks that it went that far into the future, so for example, if you went to the year 2099, the game believes you had the game for 99 years. Since things happen in the game whether you play it or not, people may have moved in and out, along with mass weed growth. When you go BACK in time, nothing changes. It is impossible to revert. It's not like the game saves what happened at present time so that you can go back to it.
