The highest rank would probably be King or Queen or something as that was the highest rank in the Medieval Ages where AOE is placed. I have not reached such rank yet but would bet my DS that it is probably King, Queen, Lord, or something similar

Actually the highest rank is emporor and ot takes FOREVER TO GET THERE. So yes there is a rank higher than viesir. I think there are 7. But I am not sure.
ALot of battles have to be one. I actually think that I became empero when I beat all of the campaigns.
