If you keep purchasing the item in the fourth tab of the shop you will eventually unlock one of five modes. These modes are Non-Stop Fever, Excavation, Giant Puyo, Ice block, and Spinner. All five modes can be unlocked individually this way.

To unlock all the characters, cutscenes and reward you with 9,999 points to spend in the shop, perform the following actions:
On the title screen, hold L+are and press up, down, right, left, X, B, Y, A.
You will hear Carbuncle's voice laughing to confirm that you have performed the cheat successfully.
