If you complete the Hamster mini-game the hamster will find Hint Coins for you.
Unlock Concept Art Collection
When you have completed Professor Layton and the Unwound Future you will be given a system-specific code which is then entered at the 'Ticket To Time Travel' screen which is accessed by selecting the 'Hidden Door' option at the 'Top Secret' screen in Professor Layton And The Unwound Future.
Unlock Bonus Puzzles
These are the most difficult puzzles in the game and are found under the 'Bonuses' section. To unlock them you must complete the indicated task.
The Musicians House - Puzzles 139 to 141:
Collect ALL 10 Strange Camera pieces to make the camera. Then take ALL 9 photos with the camera and find the three differences in each picture.
The Tea Master's House - Puzzles 142 to 144:
Collect ALL tea ingredients to find the different tea brews and then give the correct tea brew to ALL 28 people in need.
The Animal Lover's House - Puzzles 145 to 147:
Reduce the hamster's fatness level down to 0. To get the hamster to lose ALL the extra weight takes 30 steps in a row.
The Sweetheart's House - Puzzles 148 to 150:
Complete the main game...
Solve Puzzles Easily
Before attempting a puzzle save the game and view ALL the Hint Coins, then reload the saved game to solve the puzzle.
Completion Bonuses
When you complete the game with the indicated number of Picarats the corresponding bonuses will become available options at the 'Top Secret' menu.
Unlock Character Profiles:
Collect 2,500 Picarats
Unlock Story Art:
Collect 3,000 Picarats
Unlock Game Music:

Unlock Character Profiles List
When you have beaten the game go to the 'Top Secret' section of the 'Bonuses' menu and you'll find a profile with useful information for every character in the game giving you the opportunity to find out more about them.
Unlock Art Gallery
When you have beaten the game go to the 'Top Secret' section of the 'Bonuses menu' and you will be able to view an art gallery dipicting various scenes from the game.
Hidden door for old game
Near the beginning of this game you will find a code to unlock something secret in the prequel to this game, Professor Layton and the Curious Village. It should be a good secret!
