Dialga, on your team hints and tips for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky

Alright, so you saved the world right? But you REALLY want Dialga on your team (trust me, he's great).

First thing's first. Depending on how hard it was to make it through the hidden land and temporal tower the first time find a confortable level for you and your partner (over 50 is good). Then pack a band (hold item, one you will be okay if you lose) for you and your partner, a full set of throw items (like (99)iron thorns), 7 oran berries, 12 reviver seeds (more if you want), 6 max elixers, one sleep seed, one stun seed, two X-eye seed, two (or more, again, if you want) petrify orbs (in case of a monster house), and anything else you find necessary. If you want to bring something like a heal seed ok. My hint requires 34 items if you're wondering (I suggest you fill up your treasure bag completely with whatever you need).

Then go to the beach, walk up to Lapras and when he asks if you want to go to the hidden land, say yes. (PS you can't bring other friends from the Chimecho roster.)You'll have to travel through the hidden land, as well as the same places you had to before, but they'll be shorter and transition from one to the other with no rest spot in between, so if you really don't want to faint out of the dungeon bring an escape orb.

Once you make it through the temperal tower and get to the spire Dialga will appear. He will challenge you. Defeat him by using the sleep seed first and doing as much damage as possible. When he wakes up hit him with the X-eye seed (if he's out of range try getting him with a throw item or long-range move) and continue to fight. When he's defeated he will offer to join your team. Obviously say YES.

He will be level 48 and have 111 health. Dialga will have the moves Dragon Claw, Metal Claw, AncientPower, and Roar of Time (4 pp move that hits every opponent in the room, but causes him to pause). Sadly his IQ will be reset to nothing so if you come across any silver or royal gummies give them to him.

I did all this as a Bulbasaur with a Totodile partner, so I believe you can also succeed.
