First put a ditto first and any Pokemon second. Then give ditto a masterball or whatever item you want 2 clone. Find a double battle and make ditto transform into your second pokemon. After ditto transforms tell your second Pokemon to use thief on ditto. Finish the battle and now ditto and your second Pokemon both have a masterball.
