Activate the code above. First put the Pokemon you want to infect first in your party. Now go look for a fight against a wild pokemon. Press Run with the A button and continue holding down A until you appear back on the screen where your character can walk around. Now check that pokemon's stats and there will be a purple icon that says "PKRS"
Do not be discouraged if it does not work the first time you try it as you may have made a mistake in the timing of holding the A button.
Note: This code will not infect Pokemon that already had Pokerus cured. (Having a smiley face on their stats screen.)
