How The Legacy Tournament of The Pokemon World Tournament Works

The Legacy Tournment of The Pokemon World Tournament is a place where you can battle Gym Leaders and Champions from other Regions, but the way it works is a little unique.

After you have defeated the Elite Four, you will unlock the Unova Gym Leaders in the Legacy Tournament. After you have defeated the Unova Gym Leaders, you will unlock the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh Gym Leaders in the Legacy Tournament. After you have defeated the Unova, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh Gym Leaders, you will unlock the World Leaders (The Gym Leaders from every Region with new Pokemon) in the Legacy Tournament. After you have defeated the World Leaders ten times, you will unlock the Champion Tournament in the Legacy Tournament.
