New Super Mario Bros Cheats for Nintendo DS

To do this you must first load a saved game file which you have cleared every level (including the lettered bonus levels). Toad Houses now will no longer disappear after you take the items. The only exception are the ones that appear based on your timer when you finish a level. If you want to have ALL of your Toad Houses back, save the game and then intentionally lose ALL of your lives. When you return, ALL of the Toad Houses will be restored.
When you have a turtle shell look for an arrangement of blocks that look like stairs. Set the turtle shell down on the stairs and when the turtle inside comes out jump on his head. If you time it correctly Mario or Luigi will keep jumping on the turtle's head and you will build up lives. When you have the desired amount of lives jump off.
To earn Mario an extra life you can either collect 100 Gold coins or at the end of a stage jump up and land on top of the flagpole.
Unlock World 4:
Defeat the Boss in the last castle of World 2 as Mini Mario.
Unlock World 7:
Defeat the Boss in the last castle of World 5 as Mini Mario.
Unlock World 8:
Defeat the Boss in the last castle of World 6 as Mega Mario.
To get the following 'Save File' Stars on your file meet the corresponding requirements
1st Star:
Beat the game once.
2nd Star:
Beat every level in the game.
3rd Star:
Collect and spend every Star coin.
Hold the L and R buttons at the 'Select a File' screen and select one of your saved game files with the A button to play the game as Luigi instead of Mario.
Pause game play when you are on the map and press L, R, L, R, X, X, Y, Y to enter the Secret Challenge mode. In this mode you will now be able to go back to an area that has scrolled off the screen when you are playing a level. This code will only work after you have completed the game.
When you complete the following tasks in the game the corresponding feature will become unlocked.
Unlock Special BG Patterns:
Beat the game once.
Unlock 5th Special BG Pattern:
Collect ALL Golden Star coins in every level.
Unlock Warp Cannon to World 7:
Complete alternate Route in World 4s Ghost House
Unlock Unlimited Toad-House Items:
Clear all the levels, including lettered Bonus levels.
First you need to click on Mario game in the begging then press and hold L and R at the same time click on the file you want. Then it will say Luigi but you have to have your volume up to hear.
Hey everyone, I know this game is kind of old but some people don't know how to play as Luigi on this game, so I've decided to tell you. When the screen starts up and you go to the selection to click on a saved game file, press and hold both of the L + R buttons on the top of your DS at the same time as you're selecting the saved file, and you'll hear Luigi talking in the background. You will now be able to play as Luigi. But if you get a game over or restart your DS, you'll have to redo it again or you'll be playing as Mario. BTW, if you're using DeSmuME, an emulator for the Mac & PC to play Nintendo DS games, hold the Q + W keys on your keyboard. Hope this helps! Enjoy playing as Luigi!
When you start the first level of the game, play the level until you have passed the mega mushroom box and the three bricks that follow after that, then you will see two other bricks that you see exactly after the three that had followed the mystery box containing the mega mushroom. Now jump on the two bricks then walk on to the right brick of the two, then jump once more. When you have jumped you should notice the hidden box that contained the vine. When you have climbed the vine, to your right you will see a box, when you have hit that box a 1-up will come out. Then if you continue to your right there will be a platform with coins over it. That is the second hidden vine in 1-1.
In world 1 bowser junior castle when you go up the pipe that shoots you up you go back down go into the door there will be another door there do not go inside in the diagnol right corner two blocks will turn into stairs walk into the part at the top of the stairs then you will need a turtle shell to bash the bricks down behind the bricks is a pipe go into the pipe then you should be at the red flag if not start again
Instead of immediately jumping onto the flag pole at the end of a stage, take your time and watch the clock. If you hit the flag when the last two digits of your timer are the same (example: 133, 211, or 099) you'll unlock a mushroom house on your World Map. If the last two digits are 1, 2, or 3, you'll unlock a red mushroom house. If the last two digits are 4, 5, or 6, you'll unlock a green mushroom house. If the last two digits are 7, 8, or 9, you'll unlock an orange mushroom house.
So,when you're at the main menu,you click the Start Game thing and it will take you to the screen where you select a file.While holding down shoulder buttons L and R select the file you want to play as Luigi in with the A button.
And voila!!!
You can play as Luigi!!!
P.S.
After you have finished playing,you don't need to save the game.You just switch the console off then next time you play just use the cheat again.

To get luigi you can just press the l and r a buttons and the a button too and you will hear luigi then you can play as luigi next time you play bye:D
First, go onto World 1-1 and play the beginning normally.
When you get to the part with the mega mushroom, don't just grab it. Wait until it is on the very edge of the cliff to grab it. If your timing is right and you keep moving forward, your "big-ness" should last until the end of the level, letting you destroy the staircase and even the flag, which give you 5 extra lives. Enjoy!
Its simple just get a mini micro mushroom then go to world 2 fight the boss on the last castle to unlock world 4 ten do the same thing on the last castle on world 5 to unlock world 7
First of all you need to play the first level of the game then find the mega mushroom then wait till it's at the right edge then get it don't jump keep running and destroy as many things you can and do you will get at least five lives and keep doing that untill you get 99 lives
Go down the first green tube go down and follow the path utill you get to the water bit press the ? Butten and swim relly fast up to the top you will se a little gap go through that but be fast as there is another ? Butten that you need to press befor the water goes again then when you have doun that run doun the little corrie door and you will come out of a green tube and you will see a red flag jump on the flag and then you would have unloked a water world do that and then you will have unloked the tube that takes you strate to the end castle in world 2 pleas tell me what you think if you try my cheat
This works at any place where Bullet Bills are.
1.Get a Tiny Mushroom and turn tiny.
2.Find a Bullet Bill cannon and wait for a Bullet Bill.
3.Jump on the Bullet Bill.
You will keep on jumping by yourself,but if you press
Jump you will go higher.If you go left and right
You would stay on the Bullet Bill better.
