When you have any shell, take it out and wait until you get a mushroom, then throw the shell to your oponent, it will burst one balloon, then use the mushroom to steal his other balloon, you will get his balloon and burst one.
You can kill your oponents easy if they are using just two balloons.

If you want to play as Shy guy you must Hold select when the course is loading and each time you start another course you must hold select to play as Shy guy.

My friend was one of the producers of mario kart ds (and wii) and he told me these unbelievable cheats/glitches.

::::ONE:::::
Ok first go to the single player.
Then go to vs.
IMPORTANT pick mario in rob-lgs
Pick 150cc,easy cpu,choose course,free rules,and no teams.
Go to special cup in bowsers castle.
Get in last an try to get bullet bill.
Go around for one lap BUT STAY IN LAST THE WHOLE TIME.
Ok now when you enter the castle go to the left upper corner and use bullet bill.
When you get out of the bullet bill you will have R.O.B.s head and MARIOS LEGS.

Its funny because he runs and the lugs are moving.you will crack up.
I have proved that this works and it is HILARIOUS.

:::TWO:::
Go to vs. And pick mario in b dasher.
Keep rules as are and make sure that luigi plays with you.
Go to baby park.
Get a mushroom.if you get in 6th 7th or 8th one will probobly come.
Ok when you are near the sides get near luigi and hit him with the mushroom and swerve and hit the gate.
You will bust through it.
The koopa guy brings you back but whats this?
You are baby mario and you have unlocked him.
Also baby luigi unlocks as well ifyou be luigi and hit mario.

In any race while the count down tap A until 1 comes up then hold A

My buddy invented this glitch and I figured out how to reverse it.

On any circuit were you can drive around the opposite direction, (of the original direcion) then drive around the circuit the origional direction, you won't advance to the next lap.(It wont say your on your secound lap)

I.e. If you drive around the circuit 5 times in the opposite direction, then for the first 5 laps (driving around the correct direction) it will say you are still on your 1st lap.

This glitch has been tested on the us and pal versions and work fine

To get level 7 unlocked you have to get a star for each of the other 6 levels but I'm not telling you who the boss is.But what I will tell you is he is a little hard to beat.You have to race him on the mushroom bridge but a easy way to beat him is to go up that hill with the dirt road and let him hit you.

P.s.Yoshi in standard cart is the beat to use in the races.

This is the ultimate battle attack, first go to battle mode. (balloon battle)
Choose your character and go to Pipe Plaza, start with two balloons find an item and hope you get a Bob-omb. Press and hold the Y button. Be close to an opponent that will enter a pipe and throw it, it will blow up quickly. It is ultimate because you may hit more than one opponent. CAUTION: If you get hit, you may fall off the stage and lose two balloons.

In choco island 2 go round and the stripy bit on the side theres a gap go through there and your right next to the finishing line

On mario kart theres a hidden character R.O.B!!!{hes on super smash bros brawl} to unlock him you have to beat the lightning cup on 150cc mirror in first and you unlock him.On the action replay if you do unlock all karts and characters you wont get him.Hope this helps!!!! to get farther off jumps press are as soon as you get off the jump and yo willjunp 20% farther. It helped me win 150cc

All you have to do in gracd prix is tap L a few times and you'lle get a bannana, a red koopa shell, or an item box most of the time.In ballon battle when you hit an item box, slow down and you get the same results.

In some stages like the tick-tock, Bowsers castle, sky garden, and some more too. Well on the last lap, just as your going to cross the line, jump off the edge and still cross the line it's kind of funny because they are falling off so it's kinda cool.

OK let's get down to buisness you can unlock
Mirror Mode: by beating 150cc all of the courses.
OK you can unlock R.O.B.: by beating all of the Nitro cups to unlock him.

R.O.B. Description: OK just to let you know all you Starfox fans this is not that R.O.B. This is a totally new robot h is the bets character in the game so he is very important. Got it so now you better go unlock him because I won't say it again.

On ballon battle press and hold select and hold the d pad left.when I did this I hade the moonjump code on my ar activated.

Did you know that on bowser's castle you can take a shortcut!

On the spinning wheel instead of going off the spinning wheel keep going and avoid the fire and you will find a shortcut and you will save at least 20 seconds of your time per lap! And the computer karts only follow you in mirror mode but they don't always!

In bowser castle 2, use moonjump to cut corners of the track. In desert hills just use it to skip over the places you would usually use a mushroom for. Don't try using moonjump in waluigi pinball because it will just put you in last place. In banshee boardwalk you can skip over big parts of the track when you come out of the house and you can skip the second corner right after the finish line

Hold down the A button when the light is yellow.

Im not totally sure how I did this, but if you go up to the ' Warning: Falling Rocks' sign in Choco Mountain and go a little to the right, then hold A and Down while pressing R repeatedly,you should be doing higher bunny-hops than usual, sort of up the Mountain a bit, and eventually you'll get an error message that says 'Unable to save ghost data'.

When you hear the sound of an approaching winged spiny shell immediatly get ready to do a mini turbo. You may have noticed that just before it hits you it flies straight up. When it flies straight up to it's highest point use a mini turbo or a mushroom. If done at the same time as the winged spiny shell reachesit's highest point. You will dodge it. I have done this myself and i'm sure you all saw it on wifi.

While in the Balloon Battle game, blow into the mic. When you're not moving.

Just to let you people know. On DK Pass, on one of the snowy turns, there is an item box on the hill. The hill right before you go onto the long way down the mountain. In that item box, there will automatically be a star, triple mushroom, or single mushroom. Great to use in WIFI races. You can get those items even if you are in 1st! In first though, you will most likely get a single mushroom. Because of that, I win in DK Pass all the time. Good luck!

On DK Pass there is a secret item box. Start from the starting line you will pass a area to one side covered in snow with a red fence I think. The second one is like a hill with a couple of trees. Go up it. At the top is an item box that will give you either 1 mushroom 3 mushrooms or a star no matter what place you're in! Yoshi in egg1 rules!

On the sky garden track there are these shortcuts.

Shorly after the start there will be a grey/brown ramp on the side of a bend, drive up it using a mushroom shortly before to miss the bend.

You can do this again on a different bend further round the track. If you don't have a mushroom then next to the second bend there is a boost-jump which you can use.
