Looking at all of the stats of the racer will help you alot during races. When you first see what tracks your are racing at, you are then able to choose which racer you could do best with, and you will want to look at their speed, handling, and everything before you start to race with that person. If you are racing at rainbow roads, then you will want to not race with bowzer, but someone, a little bit smaller that will help you get around those turns better, and not fall off the edgs, when the rails are not their to catch you. When racing chose someone, that has fast enough speed, but where you are still able to control their kart so you do not speed of f the track, and then you have to go through the long waiting proccess of restarting, and then have to get back up to the front of the pack, and hopefully win the race from there.
