Different Intro Sound (3DS Only)

Launch Mario Kart DS from the HOME menu. When both screens suddenly turn white, close the 3DS quickly and wait 5 seconds or as much as you desire. Then open the 3DS. Instead of a double-vroom sound, you'll hear a long fade vroom.

If you do not hear it in the attempt after 5 or more seconds, you might need to complete a GP Class or beat 150cc Mirror, or other classes.
