When you have visited your cousin Mary plenty of times you will get an event when your Aunt visits Mary. It starts out like any normal visit but then after you talk another message appears:

If you want tons of free stars, go to one of your hamster's cages before you go to bed and feed them, then plug you DS charger in and leave your DS on and open overnight. When I did this I had 90,000 more stars than I had had the night before.
On the game case when you get Hamsters Life 2, it shows a striped hamster... Well there is anothere rare breed and I am going to tell you how to get it. The breed is called a star hamster, they have different color fur but yellow stars down their back... Ok now this is how you get it, Alright you first have to get a Golden hamster pregnant (it doesn't matter what type of Golden ) Then when Bill tells you that your hamster is pregnant you save and then turn off your Ds and then turn it on and go to your settings, now change your time to 2:30-2:50a.m., (it has to be early in the morning) then go to change the date to either your B-day, or on Christmas day.. Then turn your ds off. Then turn it on and go to your pregnant hamster and see if you got a star hamster.. If not you turn ds off right away without saving then keep trying untill you get a star hamster. Their are many different colors and I hope you get the right one you want.
On Hamsterz save your game with the present year. Go to your DS settings and change the year higher. Go back to Hamsterz and save your game. Your hamstez will be owned for many days!
