These are the boxes that help you push other blocks around. The problem with these if you don't get these within a certain time limit they will take a chunk out of the stage and if you leave it in the middle cube it will take out the whole stage.
To heal your health completely on tower mode you have to step on all the blocks on one floor or step on a rainbow block to partly heal yourself.
