Tricks&Tips to Money&Stuff

Added:

Here are some tips to getting fairly easy money&Letting you save more. The tips are numbered and points about the tips are lettered.

1. Some Trees will contain fruit, right? Pick the fruit and continuously sell it to Tom Nook. It sells for about 100 bells a piece, I believe, so in time It is well worth it so sell it. It is not, however, worth it to make more trees. In the long run, it doesnt help you much.

2. Go down you beach everyday and collect ALL shells lying around. Sell ALL to Tom nook. White Scallops and Pearl Oysters are worth more, so definately sell those. Also, there are other thing you can do with shells:

A) Attach them to letters you can send to townspeople. Within a day or so, they will send you a friendly letter back with furniture, walling or flooring attached! However, every effect has their cause. Which brings me to:

B) when you send shells, your townspeople are easily amused by your kindness and willingly place them in their house-in exchange for their furniture. Over time, you will notice they DO accumilate, and it takes awhile before your townsfolk get the heart to send it to the recycling bin. (where, for fun, if deisred, you can send it back to them). My point is, that after a whle, their houses wil become EXTREMELY UGLY! Although it doesnt make any real impact on your game, if you have a townsperson you really like with an ugly house (my case) Its not all so soothing. Therefore, I personall don't send my townsfolks shells. I often resort to unwanted furniture, walling etc... That builds up in my dresser. So instead, your people's houses will be filled with furniture that can be reused! It all really depends on personal preference!

3. Relating to my last note, your unwanted furniture has another use: selling it! If you ever regret selling it, the catalog is an easy tool you can use to get it back!

4. Whenever your townsfolk want a favor of you, or challenge you to an "unbeatable" competion, it's very worth it! See my notes:

A) Favors are often asked of by your lazy townsfolk. Common Favors Consist of:

Delvering Furniture/Walling or flooring to another townsfolk.

Delivering Letters to other townsfolk.

Getting a certain shirt or any shirt for a townsfolk.

No matter what, it is always very worth it to do any favor for a townsfolk. As long as you notify them when your done, you WILL get rewarded with an item or Bells!

B)Also, sometimes, Townsfolk will often challenge you to find a bug or fish. Always accept these challenges. Townsfolk often ask you to find whats in season, and if you don't know where to look, check to see if you've caught one before, and look where to find it there in your menu. Have the fish/bug in your inventory, and you will be rewarded! (note: Townspeople will say "Lets see who can catch one first", no matter how long you take, as long as it doesnt go into the next day, they don't find it, so don't worry about this.)I'm also pretty sure they don't take the fish/bug, so therefore you can sell it afterwards Smile

5. Free stuff can be found in the Recycling bin in the Town hall, and in the town gate, Talk to booker and he can show you "lost" items available to claim. Some of these items are pitfall seeds. Allthough they are POINTLESS and unsellable, if you sell them along with another item, Nook will take them for free.

6. Finding cracks in the ground can be a sign of Items burried, that can be discovered with the help of a shovel.

A) Of of these items will be Quoazoid, Mini Echoids, Etc... Those don't often sell for much, and if you have a collection, your better off to keep it.

B) BUT, Fossils are another story. A topic that I often ponder, whether to donate of sell these common beauties. Although donating all will lead to museum completion, you STILL, in order to complete your museum, must collect all paintings. This is not impossible, for I have done it, but oviously, takes a while. A long while. So if you have the patience for Red to come around every week, and hope he's selling a REAL painting, go right ahead and attempt to complete your fosslils while your at it. If you don't, and wouldn't mind a couple extra thousand bells, SELL YOUR FOSSILS!First, get them appraised by blathers, for Nook pays little for unknown rocks. After you've sold, you'll be thousands of bells richer! ITS WORTH IT!

Thats all the tips I have for now! I hope I helped. I want you to know that my Tricks&Tips will not lead to ulltimate riches, but are simply tips so that you have a couple extra bells to help you allong the way!

Thanks!
