When you get the moon's tear, you have to go and give it to flying deku in south clock town. After you give it to him, he will give you a land title deed or something.

If you are far enough in the game, you can trade it for other land deeds and get heart pieces.

But do that you have to have almost finished the game. Or you can give the land deed to the hand in the Stock Pot Inn. He is in the toilet at 12:00 at night I think.

Hope this helped.

GravityMasteraq answered:

Once you get the Moons Tear, you go to where there is a gold deku flower in clock town, and trade it to that deku for his deed. (You use that flower to get up to the clock tower.)

And now, if you want to, you can go to the swamp, and near where you sighn up for a boat ride, there is another gold deku flower and deku.

Trade the deed you got from the first one to him, and then use that flower to go up and get the heart peice from on top of the building.

Continue from there to the Goron village, again there is a gold deku flower and scrub, trade the swamp deed to him, and again get the heart piece.

If you are far enough in the game, you can then go to the zora place, and go to Lulu's room, and trade the goron deed, to the other gold deku in her room, and get another heart piece.

(The last three things are optional.)

Give the Tear to the stuck-up Deku who won't let you on his property (the yellow flower in South Clock Town). He'll move out, and you can buy a Piece of Heart from him out in Termina Field if you play your cards right for 100 or 150 rupees.

You can use the paper he gives you to get a Piece of Heart from the Hand-in-the-Toilet in the Inn, or if you already have it, you get 5 rupees. Or you can give it to the Deku in the Swamp and get another Deed. It's a fine chain that goes on 'till you just get a free something-or-other...I think.
