How do you beat volvagia in the fire temple I've been at it for maybe..

To beat Volvagia,use your Megaton hammer on his head when it comes out of a hole. slash him, then he will fly up and blast flame at you.

Dodge and eventually he will go in a hole.

Repeat.

After a while he will drop rocks down.

You have to stun him with your hammer when he pops out of the holes in the ground. Then hit him with your sword. Sometimes I got a couple hits on him with the bow when he's flying.

Make sure you have a few faries so you don't die as easy. The thing I found a little hard was getting to hit when he was farther away in the holes.

Don't use Z-target, then you can run faster and get to him faster. Hope this helped!!!

Ah yes this boss can be tricky. Look at the holes in the ground. When he pops out hit him with the Megaton Hammer. Now slash away at him with your sword. The next time he pops out DON'T GO TO HIT HIM because he will fly out. Avoid his attacks by running around. When he makes the rocks fall down avoid the shadows and get as far away as possible. Once he goes down again repeat. You shouldn't have too much trouble.

its easier to climb off the side when he drops the rocks, just slowly walk off the edge and you'll hang there.

Easiest way to beat him is hit him with the hammer then jump hit him with you're sword then while hes flying around breathing fire or throwing rocks just slowly walk of the edge until the coast is clear, just be patient

It's basically like a game of Whack-A-Mole. Volvagia will poke his head out of the holes in the floor. Hits his head with the Megaton Hammer. Do this a couple of times and he is defeated.

P.S: If Volvagia's attacks are killing you, climb down the sides and Volvagia can't harm you.

Really how do you do this? When I hit him with the hammer, nothing ever happens. Ever. Yes I am doing it correctly. I go in to this fight every time with full health and two potions, and I don't hit him once. Please help, this is about a million times harder than any Dark Souls boss.

I have also been stuck on this level for quite a while. What you need to do is get as many heart containers and pieces as possible before going into here. What I used to be stuck on was that I always ran out of time and hearts. When he is going to pop out of the hole, just look for a wave of fire to tell which one he is coming out. If you really want to be careful, hang on the edge when he goes out of sight-you will NEVER get hit. Once he comes out of the hole, stun him with your hammer and continue until he is done!!
