To get the Kokiri Sword you'll need to head up this one hill to the right of your house when facing it that leads to a maze like area of fencing. At the wall is a little hole next to the sign that once you walk up to you can enter by pressing A.
In the next area go to the right to get the blue rupee by the plant. Now go back and you will see a giant rock rolling around. Follow it around until you see an opening to the right. Go in there and get the 5 rupees then wait for the boulder to go by and follow it around again to the next right.
Go in there and open up the Treasure Chest with A to get the 'Letter Opener' I mean Kokiri Sword!

Go to the forest training area and you will see a tunnel. Enter it by crawling through and you will be in a place where there is a boulder rolling around. Avoid the boulder and go up the left and there will be a treasure chest with the sword.
