Question for Zelda 64: Ocarina of Time

This question is for my little brother.
In his game he wants to sell the bunny hood but can't get the marathon runner to appear in Hyrule Field. Can anyone help him with this?

P.S Does anyone know why wearing the bunny hood stops skeletons appearing at night?

P.S2 Has anyone seen a skeleton that is bigger than normal? One of those one eyed stones said there was a secret near a lone tree in the north-west part of Hyrule Field. I searched around the lone tree at night and saw a skeleton that was bigger than normal. What is the deal with that skeleton?

Okay, this was hard for me too, the marathon runner runs all over Hyrule Field during the day and stops to rest at night.

He runs so fast that you can't catch him on your own, he runs in a counterclockwise direction around Lon Lon Ranch, so I suggest just standing somewhere near Lon Lon Ranch during the day and wait for him to appear.

As soon as you see him, play the Sun's Song to change the day to night so that he'll stop running. Go talk to him with the mask/Bunny Hood on and I suggest doing this with an empty wallet because he'll pay you enough to fill it!

Then return to the happy mask shop and try the Mask of Truth, it allows you to talk to the Gossip Stones scattered all over the game! You can also get the Goron Mask, the Zora Mask and the Gerudo Mask, not very important, just fun to play with, put them on and talk to people.

I don't know why the bunny hood stops the skeletons from appearing at night, but as long as it does and it works, who cares?

If you fight and destroy enough of the skeletons in one night anywhere, eventually a larger skeleton will appear, no stronger than an average skeleton though, nothing important!

The reason your brother probably can't find the marathon runner that appears in Hyrule Field is because he only appears after you defeat Lord Jabu-Jabu.

Also, if you stand outside Hyrule Castle at night time and then head to the right and keep going then you should see him sitting down and he will pay you an insane amount of money for the bunny ears.

Collect all three Spritual Stones he doesn't appear until you do that.
