Can someone tell me how to get by Pak E. Derm on the first level? He is an elephant holding up a sign with a hand on it. The white cloud says to give something special a try. What would that be?

If you've done the tutorial then you might have a little better of a clue. Get right next to Pak E. Derm and jump twice into the air. Then push the Control Stick straight down. Yoshi will ground pound and will knock Pak E. Derm over. You have to be fast because he will get back up in about 3 seconds. Just jump twice over it. Hope I helped.

P.S.S. Yoshi's Story is a good game.
Ground Pound him (jump and then point control stick down) he'll flip over and you can jump over him.
