I can find the cannon outside of the castle that takes me to the top of the castle to get Luigi's last bunny, but I can't access it. How do I do this?

The cannon outside of the castle doesn't take you to "Luigi's last bunny" and in order not to spoil anything I'll tell you that you can only access the cannon after you get all 120 stars!!!!!
OK lets get things straight.Who or what is Luigi's Last Bunny.
I have beaten this game many times and have never found such a thing.
Secondly you need 120 stars to open the cannon outside the castle and you see Yoshi there,not Luigi or his last bunny.

Luigs's bunnys are on the Nintendo DS version!!!
Actually... you're thinking of Super Mario 64 DS. This is Super Mario 64. Luigi isn't in this version. But I'll tell you how to get it in DS: Get 150 stars. The cannon is near the small area of water near where you start when you enter Adventure mode. Shoot up to the roof to get Luigi's last bunny.
When you get 120 stars it will open up. Shoot your way up to the top of the castle and there will be Yoshi, not Luigi's whatever, and Yoshi will say something and then he will give you 100 lives and there will also be a winged cap so you can fly in that area. P.S. Luigi is NOT part of the game.
Well super Mario 64 ds is better and wallawigi is real and so is bowser youl just have to look online for the ansers.
