In whomps forest on level six blast away the wall what corner am I blast off of?

You should enter the cannon and blast into the corner of the brown wall that's farther way from you. When you face the slope, it's the one to the right. To be safe, once you break away that part of the wall don't use the cannon again to get the star. Instead, walk up there and slide down onto the star to retrieve it.

And by the way, it's called Whomp's Fortress, not "whomps forest."

There's a cannon near the start point, next to the watery area. There are two walls that point out, with a steep stone hill in between them, so shoot yourself at those corners of those walls.
