Do not get confused, this is for ps 2(pokemon stadium 2, not 1) So my question is, for story mode, in the beginning, do you choose 6 Pokemon and raise them and teach them moves, or for every cup, you just choose rental ones? I'm confused.

if you have a gb pokemon red or blue or yellow you can transfer your pokemon to pokemon stadium or you can choose rental pokemon for all or some battles if you dont have a gb. also you need a n64 transfer pack to trade pokemon between the games. if you need any more answers to your questions just ask more and i or someone else will answer
