What pokemon are best to beat Giovanni's team?

If you want a trained team the best one I use is:
Mewtwo with psychic, fire-blast, recover, and thunder-bolt.
Articuno with fly, blizzard, ice-beam, and agility
Alakazam with recover, psychic, submission, and dig
Rapidash with fire-blast, agility, fire-spin, and hyper-beam.
Zapdos with thunder-bolt, drill-peck, fly, and sky-attack.
Starmie with hydro-pump, surf, recover, and thunder-bolt
All of them at level 100. The ones I used to beat him in both rounds was the Mewtwo, Articuno, and Starmie.
A team from Blue, Red, and Yellow would be good, even if they aren't lv. 100 or 50... just not under lv. 35
