All you need to do is get the super boots from inside the mansion.

Then go to the 1st floor of the mansion and enter the door on the right.

You should see a rocking chair. right of that should be a stack of boxes.

You must spin jump the top box and then the other 2 and you should get 2 apples.

Do you know about the boxes in Boo's manison where you can turn Classic Mario? Ground pound on them and you might get a apple, repeat to get tons and they are for good cooking tools.
