Take it to where King Rool's thrown room is and there should be a door with the Banana Medal and a Nintendo symbol on it. You need all 15 Banana Medals and the Nintendo symbol to get into the room which holds the key. The Nintendo symbol is inside the old Donkey Kong game inside the third level.
