Date of Question: Jan 25 2009 | Question ID: 137480 Hi, so how do you beat the DK arcade game in Frantic Factory? Is there some sort of trick? Because I've been playing it for about a week trying to beat it, because I need the Nintendo coin to get through the last door to the K.Lumsy cage key in Hideout Helm. Every time I approach the door it tells me to see Cranky but I already got the rareware coin from the jetpac thing so I dnt know why it keeps telling me useless info! I hate that stupid arcade game!! Impossible.

I had trouble with this too. If you played the game in the MasterPieces section in Super Smash Bros Brawl or played it on Animal Crossing,this should be easy. Hope this helps.

Practice makes perfect, just keep it up. It was simple for me cause I grew up playing that game on the nintendo. Just jump the barels, avoid the ghosts, dodge the bouncing things, and use the hammer when in trouble. Also, don't take a move unless you think your going to die. Be patient and wait for the perfect moment.

Don't feel bad, I had the same problem. My advice, run alot in the first level unless you unsure a barrel is going to come down a ladder. When you are on the moving platform in the second level start jumping towards the moving ladder so you can miss the pies. I the third level, try to stay away from the fireballs, don't do big jumps, and when you get to the top, don't charge for the ladder to Peach, wait a little bit 'til your sure that you will get there safely. Finally, on the last level, get all the level points on the left side, then start working on the right side. Good Luck! :)

I've had a little trouble with this to. It took me 8 times in a row to find out the tricks. Like in the third you need to have good timing. If you want good practice just go to the mystery section on the startup screen and find the game, you get 3 lives so see if you can do it there. Then try to do it in 1 life it's possible.
