Where are all of the jiggies in rusty bucket bay?

answer |

Cross Stinger

1. Flipper: At the ship's bow underwater, you will see Flipper the dolphin trapped under the anchor. Connected to the anchor, you'll see a long chain coming down from the hole. Go in that hole and resurface; you'll be in the large anchor hold. Go through the corridor with the Grille Chompas and press the button in the chamber at the end of the corridor.

2. Smokestack Jiggy: A Jiggy can be found atop the bow smokestack; a Mumbo Token is atop the other.

3. Hot Air: Near the bow of the ship you'll see three numbered buttons. Pound them in the order 3-1-2-1-1-1.

4. The Captain's Treasure: On the starboard side of the ship by the Grimlet at middeck, you'll find a thin-looking window. Smash it and enter to access the captain's quarters. Smash the wooden door in the cabinet and defeat the Grille Chompa and then jump up to grab the Jiggy.

5. Boss Boom Box: On the side of the harbour opposite the one with the exit pad, you will see two cranes. The one to your right facing them from the ship holds a crate of TNT. Jump onto the crate from the boxes piled by the stern-side smokestack and climb the rope to get to the crane's arm, and then descend the crane to the level with the two directional buttons. Beak Barge the Down arrow to make the crane drop the crate, causing it to explode and leave an opening in the deck.

If you go into that opening and zoom into first-person view, you'll see a Jiggy — but when you start for it, Boss Boom Box will materialise. The first form will take four average hits to break before yielding two smaller boxes which in turn each yield two boxes and so on. Defeat all of the boxes to win the Jiggy.

6. The Warehouse: On the side of the harbour with the exit pad, you'll see a warehouse with an open door and a breakable skylight. Enter the room and manoeuvre through the cargo to get the Jiggy. Be careful of the piranha in the basin below.

7. Jiggy in Jail: The crane not holding the TNT box holds a cell covering a Jiggy. Climb onto the cell and climb the rope to the crane arm, and then descend to the directional buttons. Beak Barge the up arrow to cause the cell to be raised for 18 seconds. When time runs out, the cell will be lowered halfway, and you'll have another five seconds to nab the Jiggy before it comes all the way down (if five seconds pass and you're still under the cell, it'll drop down as soon as you get out of the way).

8. Gears Gone Wild: Go down the non-Grimlet port hole at the stern to enter a chamber with a propeller button. Press it to cause the propellers inside the gear chamber to slow down periodically. Go outside and Beak Barge the door in the bow-side smokestack to enter the annals of the ship. Go down the interior of the smokestack and you'll see two holes, a small one leading to a hollow honeycomb and a large one leading to the gears of the ship.

These gears are constantly turning about and threaten to drop you into the bottom of the chamber, thereby depriving you of a life. Manoeuvre through the turning platforms and propellers to get to the Jiggy on the far side of the maze.

9. Gears Gone Wild Part II: After you nab the Jiggy on the platform on the far side of the gear chamber, go back to the platforms on the other sides of the propellers you passed to get to the Jiggy. Find one propeller button and pound it to cause the propellers in the bottom of the stern to slow down occasionally. Find the other button and pound it to make the gears in the chamber and the propellers at the bottom of the stern stop completely for 75 seconds. You have until then to get the Jiggy from behind the propellers at stern. (The clock will not stop when you get the Jiggy, so make sure you have enough time to get out from behind the propellers — coming in contact with them when they're moving will cost you a life.)

10. Jinjos:
Blue: In the middle blue chamber on the side of the harbour with the cranes; you must enter from the top.
Green: In the pool of toxic waste in the back side of the harbour.
Yellow: On the dinghy in the small fenced pool in the left corner of the harbour.
Orange: At the end of the path from the eight-egg toll near the crate by the harbour lock.
Pink: In the caged chamber near the lock on the side of the harbour with the exit pad.

Witch Switch: Atop the vent on the ship. The Jiggy will appear in the chamber behind the 450-Note door that is accessible only with the water level raised to the maximum.
