Squinkies get Video Game Treatment SuperCheats News
Despite the fact that we receive all of the entertainment that we could possibly need from video games, there comes a time in every gamer guys life when they feel the need to find their gamer gal and make little gamer rug rats -- and when that happens it is only natural that they will want to pass on their love for gaming to their new creation... Gamer 2.0.
If you have little Gamer 2.0's running around your man cave chances are good that they have already discovered the Squinkie line of toys -- so imagine the massive points you can score with them when you drop the box for the Squinkie game into their lap? You will no longer have to wonder if they love mom more than you, you'll have that love thing locking-in.
Letting the cat out of the bag today, Activision released details for their upcoming video game based on the phenomenally popular children's toy, Squinkies -- which is set for an April release on Nintendo's DS. Squinkies brings the squishy, pint-sized characters to life on a magical adventure -- and best of all your little Gamer 2.0 will be playing it on the DS, not on one of your consoles, which means it is portable entertainment mate!
The little gamers immerse themselves in the Squinkies world playing as a Squinkies Princess in search of their lost lovable Squinkies friends. Successfully completing a mini-game will free Squinkies which will then be added to the gamers collection. Like all good children's games, Squinkies is easy to engage and fun to play, and is packed with a number of mini-games including: Squinkies Match, Squinkies Puzzle, Squinkies Pool, Squinkies Chains, Squinkies Paint, and Squinkies Chomp.
With over 250 Squinkies to find and collect, the game is packed with hours of engaging game play for your little gamer, which means they can sit in the corner all busy like a little gamer while you get busy with your gaming, which any way you look at it is a win-win!
The game includes magic coins that can be earned as bonuses to collect more Squinkies -- and just like in the toy play sets, players can insert the magic coins into an interactive Gumball Playhouse to add new Squinkies to their collection. All collected Squinkies will be cataloged in their interactive Bubble Bank, complete with animations, music and sound effects.
Squinkies will be available this April on Nintendo DS, and is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB. For more information, check out the official game page on www.activision.com .
