Based on one of the most popular and beloved games of all time -- The Legend of Zelda -- the Symphony of the Goddesses Tour is a spectacular concert that features live orchestral performances of theme music from Nintendo's iconic Legend of Zelda franchise.
Touring North America with a regular schedule of appearances, a special performance has been set aside in Los Angeles on June 6th, 2012 at 8:00pm at the Greek Theatre in conjunction with E3 2012 -- the Electronic Entertainment Expo at which most of the games journo community are already present at what is generally considered to be the world's premier trade show for computer and video games and related products, making for the most convenient opportunity for games journos to take in the performance and celebrate music that served as the life soundtrack for more than a few of them...
The name "Symphony of the Goddesses" refers not only to the concert program but also to the new four-movement symphony recounting the classic storylines from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
The concert will highlight orchestral renditions of music from other series games, including The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Eímear Noone will conduct the full orchestra with arrangements by music director Chad Seiter.
