Rock Star Bunny challenges fans nightly on COD -- are you next?
It seems that the band members of the band The Bunny The Bear have been gaming since they were young enough to hold a controller -- and have been rocking out since 2008 -- but within the last few years the band has merged their two loves of music and gaming together, and how cool is that?
We've learned that when they are not on the road, they unite with their fans in another way -- online gaming! "The Bunny" (Matt Tybor) challenges his fans to endless games of Call of Duty -- he even admitted that when he plays now-a-day's he only plays with fans. It's his way of connecting with TBTB supporters outside of a concert.
And it turns out that The Bunny isn't the only band member that loves gaming, as between the entire band they own over 15 gaming consoles, old and new -- and they play it all: from COD, NHL 12, any Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Metal Gear to Dark Void and Shadow of the Colossus, these are just a few games the guys go to for down time off the stage.
Check out this video about their gaming that was shot before their Chicago show:
The Bunny The Bear are getting in all the gaming time they can, before their new release, The Stomach For It, is out on May 22nd, 2012.
The Bunny The Bear bring a unique sound that encompasses many genres, with an authentic fusion of rock, metal and electronics that stands out on its own. Their debut release If You Don't Have Anything Nice to Say… has scanned over 6,000 copies. Their video for "C'est Pas Si Loin" has been featured on Vevo, which has been seen over 204,000 times. Check out their new music video "Lonely" off -- The Stomach For It -- at http://youtu.be/a1MmAzuY-Go -- it's a spatial bloody fantasy, following the concept of Alice and Wonderland meets House of 1000 Corpses.
Blasting tunes when you game is classic gamer gaming game stuff, but blasting tunes made by gamers while you game? Priceless!
