New Call of Duty to Be Announced May 1st

Nothing sets the Internet on fire quite like the news that Activision will be revealing the new Call of Duty game in just over a week's time.

Set for the big world reveal next Tuesday, during the basketball playoffs on the American television channel, TNT, the Call of Duty website doesn't offer much in terms of pre-announcement info, although the yet-unannounced game is rumoured to be Call of Duty Black Ops 2, a sequel to the best-selling video game in history, Call of Duty Black Ops.

The colour scheme of the site, as well as the darkened image behind the 'world reveal' text, both support the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 theory but until May 1st, it all remains speculation.
