World of Tanks Update 7.2 Announced

Publisher and developer Wargaming.net announced today that Update 7.2 for their free-to-play MMO World of Tanks will introduce a wide range of new gameplay features.

The update introduces two new maps -- Live Oaks, the first map with a North American setting, and Campania, which depicts traditional Italian landscapes. In addition, the long-anticipated substitution in top American heavies: the T-34 (tier IX), and T-30 (tier X), will be replaced witht he M103 and T110 respectively, providing well-rounded top tier gameplay. The update will also introduce a new branch of US Forces, the Tank Destroyers with rotating turrets.

Another major element being added is an updated set of crew skills that will add 20 new skills to master. Each crew member will have their personal set of skills providing various enhancements to vehicle performance.
