All will be revealed in Cologne
Wargaming.net announced today their plans to participate at GamesCom 2011 -- the largest European trade fair for interactive games and entertainment -- which is being held at the Köln Messe in Cologne, Germany, from August 17th to August 21st.
Gaming Update hung out with the blokes from World of Tanks at E3 this year, where they brought some real tanks -- seriously -- with guns and tracks and tank chicks, we swear! Hey! We have pictures!
Along with entertaining the Gamescom visitors with the highly acclaimed World of Tanks action MMO by holding an open tournament for all attendees, Wargaming.net will also be introducing their newest MMO project World of Warplanes
that they announced during E3 2011 -- and we can only hope that they will bring some planes with them at E3 next year, with plane babes...
The big news for GamesCom and World of Warplanes is that News Media will be given the opportunity for a first look at World of Warplanes game play -- sweet! -- as well as to discover the main features of the game, all during personal presentations in the business area of Gamescom 2011 and don't you wish you worked for us?
[page-break]A Super Secret Announcement?
The main highlight of the event will be the announcement of a new project Wargaming.net has recently started to develop -- and kept very quiet about...
Not good Victor, you gotta talk to us man!
"We'll be sharing the first details on World of Warplanes, which we are very excited about," says Wargaming.net CEO Victor Kislyi. "Not to mention our new announcement! There's no better place than Gamescom to do that, and we look forward to this massive event," he added.
There were no free rides in the tanks at E3, and we did not get to shoot the guns - sigh - but there were tank babes that we feel obligated in sharing snaps of with you here, even though technically this is a piece about World of Warplanes... But still... Tank Babes!
