Mortal Kombat - Skarlet DLC Released

Mortal Kombat's newest warrior enters the arena today and she is out for blood.

Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm Studios announce that Skarlet is now available for download on the PlayStation Network and Microsoft Xbox Live as the first of four new downloadable kombatants. The ferocious Skarlet comes with a unique move set and two vicious fatalities, and is available on Microsoft Xbox Live for 400 Microsoft Points (or as a part of the Season Pass program now available) or for 3.19 on PlayStation Network.

Also available today is a free compatibility pack featuring two klassic skins -- Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 -- inspired Cyrax and Sektor.

Mortal Kombat is the most brutal installment of the legendary fighting game to date and is currently available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game and entertainment systems. The game, along with the upcoming DLC, has all been developed by NetherRealm Studios, led by Mortal Kombat creator and creative director Ed Boon.
