World of Tanks E3 Tanks Invade LA Videos

In spite of the often over-the-top elements of the game exhibits and presentations at the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), you just don't expect a developer and publisher to show up with their own tanks for the big show -- even for a game whose focus is tanks! But the blokes from World of Tanks did just that, and as the photo above shows, they made good use of their heavy metal ambassadors at the show!

Check out the videos below for the story of how these military mammoths made the trip to E3...

World of Tanks: T-34-85 Captures E3 2011

World of Tanks is a "freemium" 3D team-based massively multi-player online game (MMOG) featuring historically accurate fighting vehicles from the 1930's to the 1950's.

With its PvP-focused strategy based gameplay, WoT delivers more than 90 armored vehicles from America, Germany and the Soviet Union, with each of the massive metal monsters carefully detailed and historically accurate!

Launched this past April, the game will eventually include over 500 vehicles ranging from light, medium, and heavy tanks, tank destroyers, armored troop transport, and self-propelled artillery lending their authentic and historically accurate stats and handling to a game that is already setting a new standard for the strategy and simulation genres.

Stay tuned to Gaming Update for our upcoming feature article on the game in July!
