Word was passed late last night that Square Enix has teamed-up with Dark Horse Comics on a project that should excite a fair number of gamers... You see, Dark Horse Comics and Square Enix plan to debut a free web comic in conjunction with the release of Dungeon Siege III!
Fans will be reintroduced to the world of the Dungeon Siege series with an all-new digital comic, revealing essential pieces of this epic role-playing saga!
The Dungeon Siege III web comic will deliver three exciting vignettes by writer Jeremy Barlow (Star Wars: Rebellion) and artists Iban Coello (Iron Man: Iron Protocols) and Sergio Abad (Transformers: Prime). The 10th Legion has fallen, but heroism is not dead in the kingdom of Ehb, even as civil war tears the country apart...
The three Dungeon Siege III comics will be available on DungeonSiege.com and for free download at the Dark Horse Digital Store: http://digital.darkhorse.com
An all-new, full-color print comic will be packaged with Dungeon Siege III exclusively at Wal-mart when the game, developed by Obsidian Entertainment, Inc., arrives on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC on May 31, 2011.
