If you have gotten 121 power stars with Mario and Luigi your head will sparkle on the select file screen.

You can triple jump if you have two players, do a backflip jump, then spin Mario, then tell the second player to click Mario with their pointer, you will do a triple jump, Please Rate!

First you beat the game as mario. Then become lugi and beat the game then when you look at your profile it will say how many times you died as mario and lugi

After you beat bowser once collect the remaining stars then beat bowser again and you will be able to play the game as lugi

Well I have been seeing this question always being asked.The location of the the final galaxy is underneath the trial galaxy.It is that place were all the green pipes are which is underneath.The green luma says :Will you like to go to the final galaxy ?You say yes collect the purple coins which are easy and your done

In one of the Bowser levels, look for the things that shoot fire. Look closely at them. Those things that shoot bubbles, look at them closely. That Mole Boss that shoots you with water, Look closely. If you are looking close enough, you will see that they look like FLUDD from Super Mario Sunshine.

Go to the shrinking satalite galaxy and collect every star bit and then collect the life and die.Repeat doing this till you have enough star bits or lives than finish the level

On the garden maze where the bunnys are the main inhabatants (i forget what it's called), there is an easier way to catch the bunny to get the star.I thought of this cheat because it's really hard to catch that bunny, so all you really have to do is do a longjump when your in front of him, by pressing R+A.

Make sure that the bunny is not going to turn and that your facing him. It worked for me the first time. If you do, you should be able to catch him.

Once you get all 120 stars with mario you can play as Luigi!! If you get all 120 stars now you can get the 121st star!!!

If you are swimming and are tired of shaking the remote all the time this hint will help. For it to work you must be under the surface, but so that the camera stays above the surface of the water, (it should have an air meter next to Mario) shake the remote and you will get an extra long, boost of speed.

For one of the cosmic races(the one in freezflame galaxy) where you have to skate, run through it like normal until you are near the Power Star. There is a blank space in between this and the Ice Blocks. It is risky, but it helps especially when you have Luigi. This is a shortcut that helped me out with Luigi. Since Cosmic Luigi races are harder, it only fits to have shortcuts that make it all worthwhile.

These are all the power ups in the Game
1.1-up mushroom. 1 extra life
2.Bee mushroom(black&yellow). Lets you fly and climb on honey walls touch water or get hit to turn back
3.Boo mushroom(white). You can float and go through walls touch light or get hit to turn back
4.Spring mushroom(silver). Lets you jump really high touch a launch or sling star or get hit to turn back
5.Power mushroom(red). Gives you 6 life instead 3
6.Fire flower(red&yellow). Lets you shoot fireballs when you spin for a limited time
7.Ice flower(blue).you can walk on lava or water or skate for a limited time
8.Rainbow star(rainbow). You are invincible for a short amount of time
9.Red star(red).lets youfly for a limited amount of time (only in garden and the giant ship)

Go to toy time galaxy, level 1. Go to where you see the 2nd spring mushroom. Instead of going strait, go right. Keep going until you see the pipe. Youll see an oversized blue pencil with a trail of star bits coming from the point. As you go down the pipe, collect some of the star bits. You'll end up in a cylinder room. Bounce around for a little bit until the star bits come flying out of the dark matter around your room.

1. The first bunny is under the snow!

2. The second bunny is in the tresure chest at the very top to open it first hit all the blue panals and turn the yellow then the bottom will open (lots of bunnys get traped in there)then get the fire flower and melt the snow men a shell will pop out!grab it and open the chest!

3.the last bunny is in a snow men grab the fire flower and melt it. Then grab the bunny!

Thats how you get the star!

Hit shadow mario and lots of star bits will fire out! It's a great way to get bits!

When you are at the golden leaf galaxy take a sudden turn at the first log then you will see a sling star go into it and launch up up and away! P.S. When ever I use it I lose so don't try it!

ALWAYS feed hungry lumas because if you feed it it will turn into a planet or a launch star that will eventualy get you a star! P.S. I am not talking about lumas near places like the terrace. I am talking about the ones at a galaxy.

To get ahead of Shadow Mario you have to be very close to hime and keep on long jumping and then you will suddenly get ahead. Trust me I beat him in the golden leaf galaxy and beat him in less than a teth of a second! P.S. Please rate this:)

If you've unlocked the Garden dome, and have Deep Dark Galaxy, go to the first mission. Here's a list of all possible 1-ups.

1) Jump your way on top of the Starshroom at the beginning. A 1-up is at the top.
2) Attack the blue crab by spinning into the front of it, then go around and hit his back. A 1-up will appear.
3) Jump into the water, and get the shell, and swim to the left side of the lake (left when facing the lake from the metal bars at the entrance of the cave). Throw the shell at the chest, and a 1-up will come out.
4) Attack all the enemies on the beach, and you'll get tons of Star bits. Get more and more, and every 50 star bits, you get a 1-up.
5) Take the cannon, and aim yourself at whichever planet you want. Read below before firing.
5a) If you shoot yourself at the brown planet, aim first at the Rainbow Star. You'll become Rainbow Mario! Run around on the planet into the pink enemies, and you'll get tons of Star bits. It would help if someone was the second player, so they could get the Star bits before they disappear. Destroy all of them. Then, take the sling star to the beach.
5b) If you shoot yourself at the Earth-like planet, kill the Goombas, then unscrew the yellow nail. The planet will start shrinking, so quickly move towards the other side of the planet, but stop in the middle. Collect all 50 coins, and you get a 1-up.
I think that's it! That's a lot of 1-ups there! Hope it helps!

Ihave 101 stars and have a few hidden stars to get, have gotten all the green lumas and passed their levels and passed all the cosmic comets. Do I have to search all the galaxies that don't show that they are complete (no crown) to find more hidden stars or are there more levels once I ask Rosalina to go to the center of the universe? The general concensus seems to be 120 total stars the first time.

1.First you need to go to sling pod galaxy (this is a lot easier if you have another person to collect starbits).

2.Then you need to get to the check point (past all of those spikey balls).

3.Before you sling to the next sling pod, look for a mystery coin (the big coin with a ? On it) then sling to it but before you get the coin grab on the blue star. This will cause you to grab the ring and still live.

4.Then you follow th path of starbits till you see this huge arrow made of starbits. Collect them and then fall. When you go back to the stage you will still have your starbits and you will be at the place with the mystery coin.

5.Repeat steps 3-4 until you have 999 starbits (thats the maximum starbits)then get the star.

In Gateway Galaxy, when you do the first mission, which is Grand Star Rescue, on the yellowish planets with wires wrapping all around it, do you see those pink pyramid-shaped objects? Spin against them, and a giant stun wave will blast throughout your screen stunning any Goombas nearby (it can most likely stun more, but Goombas are the only enemies there).

This is pretty useless, except for in the Ghostly Galaxy to try and jump across the trees. As Fire Mario only, you can spin/throw fireballs three times, but you don't get as much of a jump boost, like the regular spin. You can only get farther.

There's actually 121 Stars in the game, not 120. To get it, you must first have all 120 Stars. This unlocks Luigi. Beat the entire game with Luigi, defeating Bowser at the end. After this, a new galaxy will be unlocked. Finish this final galaxy to get the 121st Star.

Because you start each game with only four lives (after shutting the game off and turning it back on), you might be in need of some extra lives upon rebooting the game. You can usually get five right off the bat from Toad (he'll run around with a letter above his head, symbolizing a letter from either Luigi, or more likely Peach). There are four more strewn around the Observatory that you can acquire, however:

* 1.) On the moving green platform below the core.
* 2.) Under the stairs leading to the kitchen.
* 3.) Right at the top of the observatory. (Once the Red Star is unlocked)
* 4.) Underneath the entrance to the gateway to the stars. (Once the Red Star is unlocked)

If you have a second Wii controller, you can have a friend play along with you. While there won't be a second player on-screen, you will have a second cursor to use. This means that Coins, Star Bits, and the like can be collected by the second player. There's also some functionality in controlling Mario's jumps.

The Grand Finale Galaxy, which is the secret galaxy that can be unlocked after 120 Stars are gathered with both Mario and Luigi, holds another secret. Once the final Star is acquired with both characters in this galaxy, you will be able to see your death count on your save file. This will allow you to see how many times you died while playing the game with both Mario and Luigi.

For every level there is no time limit to get a star. For some stars there is a time limit (such as speedy comets and purple coin comets). When you play with p2 you don't have to hold down B to collect star bits. B, for both players is shooting star bits. When you hold down A for p2 you get a circle around the pointer. That is for stunning enemys but it won't work for all enemys. Also, there are several different power ups. One more thing, thankfully for each stage u don't need 100 regular coins but for purple comets u need to collect 100 purple coins within a time limit.

White: turns you into a ghost (touch light to turn back)

Black and yellow:turns you into a bee (touch water to turn back)

Silver: turns you into spring mario (get hit by an enemy I think to turn back also you can press A to jump really high.

Rainbow Star: turns you invincible for a short time.

Red Star: to get this star you must unlock it. You can only use it on the observatory grounds. (enables you to fly)

Fire flower: you can find this star in stages it will allow you to throw fireballs

On toy time galaxy, on the first level, heavy metal mecha bowser, after the second or third checkpoint go to the left, you must be spring mario, go in the pipe and get to the top, try not to break any of the blocks, at the top there is a question mark coin, get the coin and all the blocks will turn into star bits. If you didn't break any blocks there should be 61 star bits. Then go through the pipe and jump toward yourself and if your lucky you will land on a red block with a 1-up mushroom then jump off and do it until you have 999 star bits. You can only have 999 star bits in a level but on the observatory you can have way more.

I have only done this three times and I have 4660 star bits.

I have learned a lot more about this game. For one there is no time limit, that's just for the demo. You only have to hold B to pick up crystal shards if you're P2. There's a multi-player mode, but only another Wiimote is needed. He/She can shoot, and pick up star shards, stop Mario for as long as they like to help him avoid things. (Though he can't be moved) Or stop enemies long enough for Mario to hit them. Here are the power ups:
The only one you should find in most levels is the Super Mushroom-doubles Mario's health to six.
The rest are:Black and yellow mushroom-Mario becomes a bee and can fly by holding down A, but if you touch water you lose it.
White mushroom-Makes Mario become Boo Huu (I've only heard that though) and you can float around, and become invisible for a short time, if you flick the Wiimote, but if you touch the searchlights, you lose the power.
Ice flower-allows Mario to run on water, and lava.
Fire flower-spin to throw fireballs.
Invincible mushroom-Mario becomes invincible.
I don't know what it is,but it allows Mario to jump to great heights, because he's a spring.
It's not really a power up, but if you grab a red or green (red is faster) shell under or above water, and you go underwater, you can maneuver quickly, but if you spin you release it making it go forward until it hits an enemy, a chest, or maybe even you.
The secret one is a red star that gives Mario an extra boost of galactic power or something, allowing you to fly when you spin in midair.
And lastly, if you spin quickly while underwater you will go fast, but the control is unorthodox.
