***This trick REQUIRES Adelbert Steiner to be weilding the Blood Sword (Reward from the stellazio coin lady in Treno after 4 coins).***

After Marcus and Steiner escape their bird cage, Steiner needs to run out of the room, but guards (Why are they all ladies...it's so weird) keep running after him and attacking. STOP! Let them fight you. The blood sword cures Steiner for the damage he hits. SO kill Marcus off, then just tap x for an hour and boom! You're crazy high level with a bunch of sword cards. I did it to level 30. If you have a controller with a turno option you can set that and just walk away.

After you kidnap Princess Garnet you crash and burn (literally) into a forest. Garnet is taken. Once Garnet is captured and you, Vivi and "Rusty" go out to find her. Take a moment and get 4950gil from the monsters. Then go back to the ship (Save) and talk to Cinna and purchase 99 potions. Go on, fight the evil plant boss, and you will be running away from hundreds of crawling plants. STOP!

Don't run away, stop and let them fight you. Attack them all and use potions as need be. When Vivi has first attack with groups of 4 use fire on all for a quick kill.

You can do this until you run out of potions, or get tired of it. I did it until level 10 and it makes the next part of the game so much easier.

When you first fight baku with marcus cinna and blank keep trying to steal from him and eventually you'll get the mage masher

Must be level 70+ to do this safely, lower levels can use weaker monsters. For the level 70's, get to popos heights, (above gizmalukes grotto), and walk so your right between the 2 forests. Turn autofire on the X button. Tape the X button down. Then tape down L1 and the left anologue stick taped down to the left. Zidane will now run in a tight circle and the x button is basicly being pressed continously, killing the grand dragons that appears there. Make sure that antibody is on, as well as auto haste and auto regen. Auto regen and antibody are mandatory or you will come back to a gameover sign.

I wont be held responsible for any deaths, it isnt a 'Safe' method. But try it sucessfuly over night will get you a good 10 levels.

1.) nova dragon

hp 59,000 ap13 steal remedy,dragon wrist,grand armor

Ok before this battle equip stuff that protects againsts wind have vivi use flare ,eiko use holy and heal ,freya should have the high jump ability lerned from dragon armor,and zidane should steal.this is a really easy fight if all your characters have wind protection.

2.) maleris

hp 60,000 ap 10 steal genji armor,ultima sword,masamune

Before this battle equip fire protective armor(helm accesories ect)also equip body temp.ok have zidane steal vivi use blizzaga or flare freya should jump or use white draw if your mp is low while eiko should use holy or madeen.maleris will use reflect so have eiko cast reflect on her self and have her and vivi use magic on eiko to reflect it on maleris when you think maleris is almost dead heal because it has a powerful finishing non-elemental attack so fire defense armour doesnt work this final attack does about 2000-3000to zidane and freya and 500-1500 to vivi and eiko.

3.)tiamat

Before this battle equip wind defense armour again and have body temp. Have zidane attack steal and use thievery,have vivi use flare or meteor ,have freya use jump and only jump to avoid most of tiamats powerful attacks,have eiko use holy and healing magic tiamat uses powerful wind magic as well as twister a powerful wind spell hits everyone jet blast almost kills everyone and cast status affect heat on everyone.also he uses magic absorb and strength absorb if he uses strength absorb on zidane or freya have eiko cast might on them to give then strength again.

4.)hades(optional)

Hp 66,000 ap 30 steal items robe of lords running shoes battle boots reflect ring

This is a hard fight if you have auto regen equip it if not make sure freya has ries wind equip antibody,clearheaded and body temp.ok as soon as the battle starts hades uses reflect so have eiko cast reflect on herself so vivi and eiko can cast magic off her zidane should steal the entire time vivi should focus 2 or 3 times and start useing flare eiko should use holy or madeen freya should use reis wind and dragon breath or if you don't have it cherry blossom.hades has very powerful abilities such as flare ,holy cleaving sword wich does 1000-1700 to all characters freeze power slash(wich reduses a characters hp to 1.after a while hades raises his sword in the air and starts a countdown you must kill him before hes done counting down or he instantly kills all your characters. After you defeat him he will open a synthasis shop if you have a spare black and white robe you can make a robe of lords.

5.)kraken

Hp 55,000main 11,000tentacles ap 10 steal items genji helm gluttns robe wizard rod

Equip water absorbing armour and eqip the ability bright eyes.ok have zidane steal and attack the main body have freya jump on the main body have eiko use madeen or holy have vivi use firaga on all three parts.the tentacles use ink wich blinds characters while the main body uses waterga (does about 2000 to everyone) freeze,and leg(does 1000 to a single character) if you kill the tentacles fast it's an easy battle.

6.)lick

Hp 60,000 ap 10 steal items black robe genji gloves sirens flute

Equip earth absorbing equipment and have the ability locomotion equip eiko with the maidens prayer.ok lick is a bit harder than the others his abilities are earth shake(1000-2000 damg every character) slash(2200-2700 one character) stop,death,and doom,blizaga,firaga,thundaga.have zidane steal and attack have freya jump and use white draw I'm eiko or vivis mp gets to low have vivi use thundaga or flare and have eiko use fenir wich should do wind damage if she has the maidens prayer on if not use holy or madeen.

7.)deathguise

Hp 55,000 ap 0 steal duel claws black belt elixer

Ok have auto regen and auto haste with your best equipment regardless of what it absorbes.deathguise has really strong attacks but he starts off by useing meteor and whoever survived have them phenix down eiko if eiko survived have her use full life on someone and slowly build your party back up his other attacks are slash(500-1500 to a single character) death slash(1500-2500 to a single character) cross slash (1000-2000 to everyone) have zidane use thievery(his normal attack doesnt reach) have freya jump have vivi use flare and have eiko use holy to do 9999 damage but kill him fast so he can't use meteor again.

8.)trance kuja

Hp 45,000 ap0 steal ether rebirth ring white robe

Have auto reflect on eiko and have a part of at least lvl 50 or +.this is a really hard battle kuja starts off by using reflect but if eiko has auto reflect you can cast magic off her kuja uses flare and holy to start the battle but a little in he starts useing flare star(2000-3000 every character)and he uses it really often.have zidane steal and attack have freya use reis wind if you don't have auto regen and jump or use dragon breath if you have it have vivi use boost a couple of times and have eiko heal and if she gets a chance holy but after the battle kuja doesnt admit defeat and uses ultima to try to kill everyone(dont worry it's like the last battle with him it doesnt do damage.

8.)necron

Hp65,000 ap0 steal elixer

Take off all your abilities and equip anti body clearheaded bodytemp insomniac loudmouth and any otherthings I forgot. This is the second hardest fight in the game and guess what I'm not going to help youbesides you should know my strategies by now and I think your ready if you fail it's ok just go back level up and try again even tho I did it on my first try. But I've also beat the game 18 timesbut thats not impresive I've beaten final fantasy 7 34 times and final fantasy 8 21 times I've beaten ff 1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9,10,10-2,11,tactics and tactics advanced

Right in Lindbulm get Zidanes newest weapon and go to the gate go out and start training then when Zidanes old weapon and Armors levl up you put the new weapon on and go and sell theold weapon this means you got money, a new weapon on and a new move saved and I suggest you save

To level up quickly follow me.
NOTE : make this when you have a plane!!.
1) First, get an item to learn auto reflect
2) Go to Oelivert and defeat the stones until all your party leraned auto reflect.
3) Then, fly to the 3rd continent and in some islands thar are there it's a city there go to the item maker and make a Black cap (something like that).
4) Equip it to Vivi.
5) Use Vivi's ability Reflect x2
6) Finaly Go outside that city and fight the Dragons.
7) Finally yo can fight it as normal or use Vivi's "ICE +" ability to your party. That would be reflected and re-directed to the dragon so he will make a demange of 9999!.

Complete the game and sit through the ending. When 'The End' appears on the screen, press R2, L1, R2, R2, up, X, right, O, down, triangle, L2, R1, R2, L1, Square, Square to hear a noise (like your selecting an item). Now press start to play a bonus Blackjack card game.

When you get mobile, with the little ship, and your able to get on islands, go and fight Grand Dragons, Make sure you have auto reflect though, and make sure you have high HP and guard against stop, poison slow and blind. Just put it on autoreflect and the protect the rest of your parts cause he'll mostly use Thundaga and if he uses on all four of your party members if you have auto reflect on it will cast it back at him and damage him for a total of 9999. Do that a couple of times and keep your health up there and your levels will be flying by you. I was at level 100 in no time with all of them. Enjoy

When vivi is laying in bed before you talk to him climb up the bunk bed and get the gil then go down and talk to him.

Those stupid stone monsters are annoying, you don't give too much physical damage and it is murder in Olivert so before you go into Olivert stock up on sofy you don't get exp but you still get AP it is great on thoes stupid monsters that can summon your party to kill you.

If you want to find the Ragtime Mouse, I have a way that is sure to work.

Just fight in a forest, but make sure that it is your first battle in a forest after leaving a town.

This also applies for finding the friendly monsters. After you get into a fight with him, just enter and exit a town and do it again.

Choco cannot become a gold chocobo unless he became a blue chocobo.

There is a chocograph that points to a certain location(in the water in the mist continent).

I am not very sure of the exact location(I already forgot where). Anyway if you find that treasure,choco will become a gold one.

How do I go to Mognet Central?

Train your party before you go to the black mage village for the second time. Your best party for this would be:Zidane tribal, eiko carol, Quina quen, Captain Aldebert Steiner.


You shouldn't use Princess Garnet tis Alexandros [or garnet I guess] because she hardly ever concetrates hard enough for her attacks to even work.

First, to kill the Grand Dragon in one hit you'll need Quina and he must know lvl5 Death.

Second,the equipmet you'll need us a Coral Ring and/or other Thunder Absorbing equipment.

Third, for your easy exp. have every body wounded except Quina. Last, in the battle have Quina use lvl5Death, you win and lots of exp. too!

If anybody wants to know if you run with Hippal it gets really hard at lvl 80 but after 70 I don't think you get any more cards, because his mother gives a strange thing, not a card.

Oh, and if you want a moon stone later in the game in disc 2 go to the mountin path at outer cont.

amd get all the stones the blue, green, ed,and yellow stones.

Then right before you go to Eikos house don't go up go down go all the way to the end.

When it tells you if you want to put in all the stones put yes, after it will say somthing came from the back it will be a moon stone.

-----------------------Ultima WEAPON----

The ULTIMA WEAPON thing IS true! I didnt believe it myself, but I loaded up my disc 4 saved game.

After you go through the shimmering islands to terra, and terra goes POOF.

The shimmering islands are gone. but the icon is still on the big map (hit select until the big brown map comes up and look under the top left continent)

Here's the tricky part...put your chocobo DIRECTLY over the shimmering islands, not to the left, not to the right, smack dab on there!

Go to the big map every now and then when you think you got it. if your on top, use a dead pepper (you can find these by playing chocobo hot&cold).

If you were in the right place, you'll get it, if not, try again, you'll receive..: 10 aquamarines (or maybbe it was ore, either way, they suck)

ULTIMA WEAPON, maximillian armor (which I haven't checked out yet, cause I don't use steiner as a major party member, and apparently only he can use it, cause freya can't) and the INVINCIBLE card.

Which, if youve played alot of card games like me, you should already have.
---------------WHERE THE OCEAN CHOCOGRAPH IS

Ya know Daguarro right? the place on a mountain that you need an airship or a gold chocobo to reach? the one with the waterfall? well, its near chocobo's lagoon, which is on the southwest part of the map.

Head northeast from there, and follow the islands until you reach an island that has one beach on the right side, a brief cliff, then a beach on both sides that go all the way to the northern tip of the island.

Head east off of there until youve gone about 3 seconds into the deep water (ON THE CHOCOBO, FOOL!) Choco should start saying "kewh!?" if not, search around that area, its around there somewhere...you get:

A Whale Whisker (a rod that allows curaga and life spells to be learned) which is useful if, unlike me, you found it as soon as you get the ocean chocobo.

------------TRANCE KUJA-----------

After defeating deathguise (which has been awhile for me so i dont remember anything about him) you have the option to go back out and beef yourself up some more, or go on and challenge kuja, if your workin on side quests, save your game, then teleport out, or just leave the place altogether.

Kuja will go into a Trance, and that'll be some bad news...

-----------------SELECT YOUR PARTY------

Reccommended Party: Armarant, Freya, Dagger, and Zidane.

as long as you have a healthy supply of hp/mp (mp only really necessary for Zidane for trance and MP attack if you wanna try that.

Dagger's probly gonna heal most of the time, Armarant is just muscle (high mp isnt exactly required for him) and Freya may need mp for her Reis' Wind dragon skill.

----------------------ABILITIES---------

Reccommended abilities: i reccomened these abilities get learned AS SOON AS YOU CAN, cause they can help you a great deal in both boss fights and normal fights.

everyone: Auto Regen, Auto Haste (this will take care of any speed problems and also when your in trouble, summon something, or use a lengthy attack (such as theivery, or detect could even work.

While the attack or skill is being used, your characters will frequently replinish their own hp, that can be very valuable in certain fights where a boss uses an attack that brings your chars to 1 HP and then finishes them off with a weak attack.

Trance Kuja Fight Abilities.
Freya: No one really cares..just do MP attack and hp/mp +'s until the next fight.
Zidane: ^ DITTO, unles you wanna steal, then do bandit and master theif
Dagger: Concentrate, half mp, boost.
Armarant: MP attack, power up/power throw. (anythin else)
------------------------ TRANCE KUJA BATTLE PLAN

Basically here, all you wana do is use freya's reis' wind if not everyone has auto-regen, if they do, then just jump, attack, or use cherry blossom or dragon breath

Zidane is just an attacker....just keep hitting him with normal attacks or steal from him, im not sure what items he has though.

Armarant is also an attacker, but if your concerned for garnet (your healer's) safety, cast aura on her, then resort to throwing out your supply of wing edges, rising suns, or pinwheels, cause you wont have much need for them, and usually they're stronger than your normal attacks.

Dagger: mainly, she'll be using cure(a)(aga) and life. should you get a chance, nail Kuja with ARK or BAHAUMAT.

Keep your hp up, and keep your attacks flowing, and Kuja will knock the crap outta you (not really, but he does use Ultima just before he dies, and kills all your characters, but it's not game over, so dont throw your controller at the tv!!)

turns out your party members are alive, but EVERY character (Even those not in the fight) have ONE hp)

Like always, I suggest armarant, freya, zidane, and dagger.
for the same reasons as earlier

--------------------ABILITIES-----------

You may wanna reset your abilities for this fight...keep auto-haste and auto-regen, or take off auto-haste if necessary..

EVERYONE should have Auto-Haste, Auto-Regen, antibody, body temp, locomotion, insomniac, loudmouth.

(if you dont have enough, take off auto-haste, if you still dont have enough, ooh...use your best judgement.

if you have extra ability points (i doubt it...but if you do), put it into beefing up your attacking things.

-------------------------NECRON BATTLE PLAN
Necron tends to favor causing status effects...which is why you want to reset your abilities...if you have extra dark matter, hurl that son of a gun at him, take a nice dent of his hp.

Necron has an attack, I think its called blue shockwave or something, but it lowers a character's hp to 1, which is why you need auto-regen.

this battle is pretty obvious: FIGHT! leave Dagger free until necron's next attack, whoever it hits, heal that person, or try to remove the negative status effect.

just to give you an idea of how easy necron really is.
picture this.

Armarant, zidane, dagger, and freya, all berserk, and soon all dead, except armarant.

Armarant (with autoregen and the anti-status abilities) berserk, exchanging blows with necron for nearly 10 minutes, i said "shoot armarant, your on your own" and i changed channels, and watched tv, i switch back to the game, and armarant dealt the final blow.

so if one berserk individual can take out necron on his own, surely everyone, equipped with the same abilities.

Want to get the most out of the festival of the hunt? Here's what tot do.

Kill the monsters in the Theater district for some points, you don't want to look like a loser, do you?

Then go to the Business district and go to the square where the shops are. There you will see Zaghnoll.

Before fighting it be sure that Freya has more points than you.

When fighting it have Zidane steal everything it has, but don't kill it, Freya has to win the Festival in order to get the coralring.

If you have a zombie status, no magic tags, and you need to heal, use a poison spell on the zombie inflicted party member and it will act as an auto-regen for the rest of the battle.

Also, don't fight necron with auto-regen because his grand cross magic will cast every bad status effect in the game on your party, if it causes zombie you will be screwed.

No where is it mentioned that this game is 2 player. Well it is.
Open the menu and below "Card" is "Configuration" after selecting it go down to Customize. Choose which players is controlled by player 1 and 2.

1. Ok...My first tip is that wen you hav a chance to se your party members always pick Vivi and Steiner because Vivis magic is more powerfull and teiner can do sword magic.

2. When you are inn Lindblum make ue you go int the synthesis shop and get an Exploder which is Zidanes most powerfull weapon !!

3. This is very usefull when you get to the lifa tree...DO NOT use Vivis fire attack on it even though it seems a good idea but if you do the boss f the lifa tree will use firepin whick mostly k.os you.

4. The final tip is LEVL UP YOUR CHOCOBO. When you levl u yor chocobo in certain ways it changes colour...The higest colour is red and when you have a red chocobo you can travel to dirffrent islands by fying!!!!

If your on disc 3 and you cant beat the Silver Dragon,Garland and Kuja trio all you need to do is this... have all your party members at around level 40 and have Vivi,Zidane,Steiner and Dagger have Vivi keep using Thundaga,Firaga or Flare.

Have Steiner using Thundaga sword,Firaga sword or Flare sword,have Dagger keep using Bahamut and at times Leviathon and have Zidane use Steal or Hi potions.

(also have most people with Auto potion, Auto Regen, Auto Haste and Auto Life DEFINATELY NOT Auto Reflect or Kuja will use Flare Star and have Dagger equip Pumice piece so she knows boost!!!!!

And last but not least how do you get a Pumice apart from beating Ozma

Adelbert steiner I read ur hinty thing and heres how I defeated garland kuja and silver dragon.

Have zidane use normal attacks or trance powers if possible.

If u have the ragnarok sword 4 steiner equip him wth it(u find the ragnarok in 1 of the chocograph chests)and keep using sword art, shock have vivi use flare and amarant to throw good weapons and stuff.

This worked 4 all 3 bosses 4 me and I was even on a lower level than u.

I hope u defeat him.

Here is how to get three pumice pieces: You get the first one after you beat Ark in Oeilvert. You get the second one from a chocograph called outer island

2.You can get the third one by stealing it from Ozma.

I need to know how to make my chocobo fly. I have it at the gold stage but it doesnt fly, what do I do?

Teaching Princess Garnet summon might be hard for some because they waited to long to learn them. all you need to do is aquip the stones that can also be used to gain back hp.

Try to learn them all but i dout any one would have the pashont or time. there are shiva, bahamut,pheonix, and a lot more.

They help out alot with garland and kujha the dragon is so easy to beat i can beat it in one hit.

Ozma is a very hard optional boss. To find Ozma have the Gold Chocobo. Go to Chocobo's Air Garden and go to the Eidolon grave.

Have a party of Zidane(Ultima Weapon and Solution 9 Trance), Eiko(Angel Flute with Curaga, Full-Life and Phoenix), Freya with Dragon's Crest and Steiner with Shock.

Zidane should use Solution 9, Eiko should heal the party, Freya should use Dragon's Crest and Steiner should use Shock.

He has about 55535 HP. Watch out for Meteor and Curse. Good Luck!!!!!

Have a party of the following people:
Zidane: Must have the Ultima Weapon with Solution 9 Trance at a level of at least 70. Get him close to a Trance.
Eiko: Must have the Angel Flute with Curaga, Full-Life, Esuna and Phoenix. Level 70.
Freya: Must have Dragon's Hair weapon and Dragon's Crest Skill. Level 70.
Steiner: Must have Ragnarok or Excaliber 2 with Shock ability. Level 70.
Battle Tactics: Have Zidane use Solution 9 to cause 9,999 damage.

Eiko should heal and Revive other party members.
Freya should use Dragon's Crest to cause 9,999 damage.
Steiner should use Shock to cause 9,999 damage. When Ozma casts Doomsday if the light side is on top it will cause damage, if dark side is on top it will heal Ozma.

Also watch out for Curse. Use Curaga, Potions, Esuna and Remedies to heal yourself. Try not to make your level a multiple of 4 or 5.

Meteor will probably kill you so don't think you could've done anything about it. If Ozma casts Death use Full-Life.

Someone wanted to know where the ocean chocograph can be found. Find the Qu's Marsh that is West of the Forgotten continent.

There is an island to the north of this where there are chocobo tracks. Get your chocobo to go north west of this island (in the ocean) and you will find the chest around there.

Someone also said they had a gold chocobo and couldn't get it to fly. All you have to do is stand in any forest while on the chocobo and press X. You can only land in forests as well.

I am on the third disc and I have found all of the chocograph chests. I have also found the chocobo's paradise. In the paradise I have spoke to the dark blue, purple and yellow/gold chocobo, and hence got 2 hints from each of them (you get the second hint by challenging them to a game of cards).

I was wondering if and how I can get more hints of the other chocobo's (like the red one on the ledge you can't reach).

Also, I have bought the Doga's Artifact, Rat Tail, Griffen's Heart and Une's Mirror from the Treno auction house and yet no Magic Finger has come on sale yet.

All he will sell is the Magician's Robe, Fairy Earrings, Promist Ring, Madain's Ring and the Pearl Rouge.

I have all of these items already and so I am very reluctant to buy them again. What can I do to get the Magic Finger? Am I too early in the game for it to be on sale (just before you go to Ipsen's castle on disc 3)? Someone please help!!

On disk 3 you will get a flying ship to control by your self. Go to the Forgoten Continent and on the left of the Continent will be a lot of Islands, go to the biggest one with the mountain. You will find a place where you never been before. Ask the man that sells the weapons and he will say that to buy the weapons you have to fix the lift, so fix it you will get good weapons and protection.
After that return to your normal curse.

So you want to know how to recieve the Excalibur 2 right? Well it's simple, just reach the Memoria within the time limit of 12 hours. Sound tough? Well it actually isn't,You have to talk to Hades by the way to get it.Good Luck!

Excalibur 2 Stats:The attack power is 108! Sell it for a ton(I'd rather not though)Abilities:Minus strike,Climhazzard,and Stock!Pretty much the strongest attacks in the game.

I discovered this out of expierence and it really helped me, I'm not so sure it's in the manual but if you go to the menu and select curative magic (cure, cura) by pressing the okay button once
and then press to the left, it cures the whole party with as many magic points of curing one person.

To defeat Kraken, use zidane, vivi, steiner and dagger. First, have vivi use thundaga on all its body parts.

This causes it to use waterga on itself,
and sometimes uses ink or water gun afterwards.

kill the tentacles, this stops it from using ink and water gun, and its only two attacks now is a tentacle attack and waterga, it uses waterga most often, sometimes to heal itself.

DO NOT EQUIP VIVI'S RETURN-MAGIC ABILITY, IT CAUSES A REALLY STRESSFUL BATTLE!!!

Use thunder attacks and this battle should be easy.

How to get all your men in level 99, abilities and millions of Gil’s without you moving a finger!

This cheat is a little bit hard to explain, but I’ll do my best.

You will need: some tape, some small boxes (1cm*1cm*0,5cm or 0,4”*0,4”*0,2”) of rubber or some folded paper and a controller with auto-fire.
Your men must have the ability auto-regen, antipotion, level op and auto-haste on (you don’t need the last two, but if you have them on you’ll get level op faster).

Then fly to the left a bit over the middle of the world, to a little island with no beaches or forests.

Then land the plain in the southern part of the island, and go to the northern part.

Then take one of the small boxes and tape it on the R1 button so it’s being hold down,
switch the auto-fire on, on X
and tape another box on to the “right” button.

Zidane will go a round and a round in a little circle and when a battle begin, your auto-fire on X will make your men attack while the auto-regen will give life all the time and the antipotion will protect you against the dragon’s poison attack.

The only enemies on the island are a fake friendly cat and a dragon.

Lots of people are stuck on the silver dragon and garland, the silver dragon is
EASY! Have Steiner, Vivi, Zidane and one of the healers in your party.

Protect from wind attacks, use blizzaga and shiva, and you will win in about 4-6 hits.

Equip auto-regen for better health.
for Garland, equip locomotion, man-eater, counter, auto-regen and auto-haste. Attack physically and magically.

Don't forget to steal. He uses stop, which shouldn't work with locomotion equipped, and his other attacks only hit one person.
Kuja is the most difficult of the three.

Equip man-eater, auto-regen, auto-life and auto-haste. He sometimes counters attacks with flare star, which does 50 times your level amount.

Auto-regen should keep you alive, and if you die, auto-life will revive you, but only once.

if you heal and attack a lot, you should win easily.

IF YOU NEED HELP ON ANY BOSSES(EXCEPT OZMA), COME TO ME, FF9 MASTER!

Firstly how do you get Alexander?

Also, the only way to get Ark is to either defeat Hades and give him 2 pumice pieces(one of which you get after you beat ark, the other from a chocograph Outer Island 2, which is the Island just below Mognet Central(on the top of the map, to the East).

When you have these 2 Pumice Pieces you can give them to Hades and he will synthesise them into a Pumice.

The other is getting it from Ozma.

This is how to defeat Necron

I would suggest Zidane, Dagger, Eiko, and Steiner. Have Zidane equiped with Ultima Weapon, and make sure he knows Thievery. Make sure Dagger and Eiko have learned to summon all of their eidolons, and have learned Curaga. Have Steiner equipped with Exalibur 2 (Play 100 hours and the time will go back to 0 minutes, and you can defeat Hades in under 12 hours), and have Steiner learn Shock from the Ragnarok.

After you "kill" Trance Kuja, Necron will be your last enemy. When in battle, have Zidane attack, and when he trances, use Solution 9 or Grand Lethal. Have Dagger and Eiko summon eidolons and use Curaga when necessary. Have Steiner use Shock every turn.

That is how I defeated Necron. I also defeated Ozma the same way.

P.S- have every one at least at level 60, my team was at level 83.

To beat Omaz you will need to have Zidane at about level 80-85, Seiner at level 70-75, Frayer at level 75-80 and Dagger at 75-85.

You will also need to have found all of the chocobo pices so Seiner has lernt shock from his ranrock (or something) because it will do 9,999.

Frayer will need to have learnt dragons crest from her holy lance(bought in Bran bal)because it dose 9,999.

Dagger shouled sit back and cure everyone (no one shouled have auto reflect equiped).

Zidane needs to just use theavery from the back row with long reach equiped from a protector ring.

Everyone needs auto haste except Dagger everyone needs auto potion and regain anyone who can needs cemist and clear headed.

Everyone must be on the back row, it shouled take 15 minutes to win.

One more thing if yuo don't what a ability dose go to the equip screen and prees select on the ability.

To autum. I am James and i read your request and I can tell you where to go in Kuja's Castle.

Go to where the bookshelves open up. Go left and you will meet a moogle. Save.

Keep going left and you will see some candles.

Light the first two you come to and then go to the other one on the other side and light one of them. If it does'nt work it is because I can't remember presicely what order they go in.

It does work. If you have done it properley then a blue staircase will appear. Go up it and light the candle at the end.

You will hear a voice. Then you will verse a boss.

Have vivi use doomsday and have freya use dragons crest. have zidane attack/steal and have ekio heal occasionally using madeen.

a great way to get ap is to go to memoria fight an evil giant and use the reflectx2 trick (sub cheat: have vivi w/auto reflect and then have eiko w/reflect null now you can heal vivi, or better yet-have all the party w/auto reflect works wonders w/ozma!) another thing is to make sure you have the ultima weapon and 99 pheonix pinions while fighting ozma to 99 pheonix pinions.

Just fight the purple monster w/lots of eye's (on the forgotton contanant after terra is destroyed) and have the abilities- bandit mug (Optional) and master thief. if you wanna get theif gloves before you get to dougerro just wait till they appear at treno auction all for now bye :) (stupid fakers :(I)

To begin I need to tell you that I am a newcomer to Final Fantasy, I've played other sorts of games but not Final Fantasy, so I'm new to this game.

And someone suggested Final Fantasy 9, because it was a really good game of the series.

I'm only in Level 5, in the ice cavern, and I cannot beat the Black Waltz No. 1 and the Sealion. I've tried probably about 100 times. I eventually killed the Black Waltz No. 1, with the dyne (free energy) from my trance. Then I tried the free energy on the Sealion.

It worked, it took alot of HP away. Then I was on the verge of doing another free energy on it, when it kills me.

I can't beat it, the sealion always seems to finish me off before I can finish him off. Help me!!!

Any suggestions? What did you do when you came to it?

Right this is not a hint or a tip but will contain the FACTS you will need to understand the game much better well for starters there is not such a cheat that makes you invincible so don't lie!!

Who ever submit that cheat.Well on my final fantasy 10 all my characters have 99,999 HP and all have above 40,000MP so basically I took penance out (without Yojimbo)in a couple of minutes also my Auron,Rikku and tidus all do 99,999 damage with standard attacks and well you might call it the power of the gods.

One useful hint is if your having problems with any of the bosses buy Yojimbo at the cavern of the stolen fayth for 250,000gil he has 4 good attacks:
Diagoro
Wakizashi
Kozuka and
...Zanmato an awesome attack which lacerates through the enemy causing complete annhilation to the foe (Boss/Enemy/Sub-boss).Another useful hint is that if you keep the same weapon on a character for a part of the game the weapon actually grows its own abilitys!!!

Mine learnt breakdamage limit and capture and I didn't even know and also when you go to the calmlands arena and collect a certain amount of creatures you will be able to fight Catoblepas that gives you the riot blade which gives Auron an attack which gives the enemy a hard time because it puts them in four good status effects that knacks them up big time.Now I know I've blabbed on an all but i gotta go see ya!!

Everything Chocobo
Upon setting out from Lindblum's Dragon's Gate, you can venture due east over land to the Chocobo's Forest.

This is where you get to meet Mene and his pal Choco.

They need your help in order to get to Chocobo Paradise. This section covers how to get there...


Many of the side quests depend entirely upon your progress in FFIX and in the Chocobo Hot and Cold game. Your party will not be able to reach certain areas or find some powerful items until you have commandeered certain vehicles and Choco has acquired the necessary skills to swim, climb mountains, or fly.

Each time you pay Mene 60 Gil, you get 60 seconds to search the Chocobo Forest for valuable items and Gil. To search, ride Choco around the area and press the Square button to dig. Choco will let out a "Kweh" sound each time you dig to indicate how close or how far you are from a buried item. Choco makes a variety of sounds, each with its own meaning. Here's what they mean:
Kweh
No treasure nearby
Kweh!?
You're getting closer to the treasure
Kwehhh!?
You're very close to the treasure

When Choco screams "K-KWEHHH!!!" (all in caps), you have struck the spot where an item is buried. Different items are buried at different depths; obviously, the better items are deeper down and take longer to dig out

For each item or amount of Gil you find, you receive points. If you find four items in one sixty-second game, Mene will add 10 seconds to the clock and double your points for each item found thereafter. If you dig up two items within five seconds of one another, you receive additional bonus points.If you find 8 items in a 60second game Mene will tell you to stop and he will give you extra points depending on how much time you have left.

Choco's beak level will increase occasionally, depending on the total number of points you've earned. As Choco improves, finding items and digging them up become much easier and faster.

CHOCOGRAPHS & ABILITIES

Chocographs There are certain items buried deep beneath the ground in the forest called Chocographs. Chocographs are items that provide clues to the whereabouts of buried treasure that Choco can dig up on the World Map. During your first visit to the Chocobo Forest, you may find the first Chocograph within 3 or 4 games. The first Chocograph, labeled "Streamside," lets you dig up a treasure chest buried on the beach near the river just outside the Chocobo Forest.

To use a Chocograph to find buried treasure, leave the Chocobo Forest riding Choco.

Press the Triangle button to open the Chocograph menu, select the treasure you want to search for, and exit the menu.

Now press the Select button until the mini-map appears in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. The picture of the treasure's location should appear just above the mini-map. Ride Choco to that location and begin searching for the treasure by pressing the Square button. Choco will make similar sounds as in the "Chocobo Hot and Cold Game" to indicate the proximity of the treasure.

A Chocograph also lists the skills your Chocobo must possess in order to find that treasure. The Chocograph will appear grayed out on the menu until Choco has the proper abilities to find it.

A complete list of the Chocographs is further down, including the treasures you can find.

Chocobo Abilities
A few Chocographs provide hints about locations where Choco can dig up a "Power Up." In this case, instead of finding treasures, Choco will fall asleep and go to Chocobo's Dream World for a moment.
Here, Fat Chocobo (god of all Chocobos) bestows upon Choco a new ability, which in turn changes Choco's color. Each color indicates that Choco has attained a new ability.

The abilities are cumulative, so Choco will not lose a previously gained ability just because he has turned a new color.

When Choco is light blue, he has the REEF ability and can search the reefs (light-blue areas of the ocean) just offshore. A red-colored Choco has the Mt. ability and can run across mountains and ridges, which were previously impassable. This also enables Choco to search the high ledges to the left and to the right in the Chocobo's Forest area. However, you should only search up there when it appears that there's nothing on the ground.

A dark-blue-colored Choco with the SEA ability can swim across any part of the ocean. Finally, a gold-colored Choco with the SKY ability can lift off from or land in any forest area; simply press the X button to do so.

This enables a gold Choco to reach islands and areas that not even an airship can access

Chocobo's Lagoon
Continue digging up Chocographs in the Chocobo's Forest until Choco tells Mene that there are no more Chocographs to find. Once the party has a vehicle, pilot the party to the small strip of islands south of the western Forgotten Continent.

Land on the island where you see chocobo tracks, and use a Gysahl Green to summon Choco.

Choco must have the REEF ability to travel in the light blue colored water areas to find Chocobo's Lagoon. Ride Choco north across the reefs in this area, curving south until you reach an island with a cave visible in the side, close to the reef.

When you see the "?" appear, ride in with Choco. This is Chocobo's Lagoon!

Mene appears and offers to let you search the area for 30 seconds at 30 Gil a shot. With the REEF ability, the light blue colored chocobo can only search the shallow portions of the area.

Once he earns the SEA ability, the dark blue chocobo can search the entire area for 60 seconds at 60 Gil.

Note that, you must have a red chocobo before you can have the ocean chocobo. To acquire the ocean chocobo, you must return to Chocobo Forest with the red chocobo.

Chocobo's Air Garden
After finding all of the Chocographs in Chocobo's Lagoon, Mene indicates that it's time to find Chocobo's Air Garden. The whereabouts of this mysterious place is indicated by the clues inscribed on the back of the six Chocograph Pieces.

You must dig up all six of these pieces in the "Chocobo Hot and Cold game." After finding them all, the Chocograph that leads you to the gold-colored chocobo SKY ability immediately becomes available.

Most of the Chocograph Pieces indicate a location on the World Map. Fly to each location with the gold Choco and search for a small black shadow on the ground.

When you find the shadow, hover Choco directly over it and then take Choco up into the sky. Feed Choco a Dead Pepper, which temporarily increases Choco's abilities, to find the Air Garden.

After Mene arrives, you can play the "Chocobo Hot and Cold Game" here to find the remaining Chocographs. Search along the two islands floating among the clouds, but don't hop to the other one until you're sure there are no more treasures on the isle you're currently on.

Chocobo's Paradise
After finding all of the Chocographs and digging up their corresponding treasures, it's time to head to Chocobo's Paradise. You'll need a Dead Pepper, an item you can find while playing "Chocobo Hot and Cold."

Pilot your gold chocobo to the most northwestern part of the World Map, where you'll find a hidden island. There's a forest for Choco to land in and a small mountain nearby. Look for a large crack on the side of the mountain.

Move Choco across the ground to the crack, and then open the menu (press the Triangle button) and use a Dead Pepper. Choco will dig open the entrance to Chocobo's Paradise.

Now ride Choco to the right, where he will use the fountain as a springboard to leap up to the high platform. This is where Fat Chocobo presides. At this stage, the Fat Chocobo will indicate that there are still treasures to find on the World Map.

Also, you are now able to understand all of the chocobos when they speak. The chocobo seated to the left of Fat Chocobo will give you 99 Dead Peppers. All the rest of the chocobos, including the two near the entrance, provide clues as to the whereabouts of treasures hidden in the world that you can find by using Dead Peppers.

If you've found all of the treasures, Fat Chocobo dictates that Choco must stay in Chocobo's Paradise. He gives you the ultra-rare Fat Chocobo Card, as if it's any consolation. But don't worry, Choco won't abandon his friends.

When you move back to the entrance, Choco rejoins you for more adventures!

Before leaving, make sure you explore the area thoroughly. There's a cool item you can pick up. You can also challenge the fat chocobo to a game of cards.

Dead Pepper Treasure Locations
The exact locations are indicated by either cracks in the sides of mountains or by bubbling water.

To get the ball rolling, return to Quan's Dwelling on the Mist Continent. Search the edge of the patio overlooking the ocean, where you can see the foaming water below. Decide to try a Dead Pepper, and Zidane reappears on the World Map riding Choco on the patio. Using the Dead Pepper causes Choco to swan-dive into the bubbling waters, retrieving the treasure.

During Disc 4, move Choco across the waters using the SEA ability and head for where the Shimmering Island once stood. Keep moving until Choco is positioned exactly on the dot where "Shimmering Island" is still indicated on the World Map (when you press the SELECT button).

When you use a Dead Pepper, Choco uncovers the greatest treasure cache of them all! This stash includes Zidane's Ultima Weapon, the strong Maximillian armor, and the ultra-rare Invincible Card!

I have another technique how to make quina a useful character, u must collect atleast 99 frogs so that when u use the blue magic FROG DROP the damge is 9999, and u will receive quinas strongest weapon GASTRO FORK, i love quina because of her blu magic. QUina is also useful in beating OZMA, when ozma cast CURSE all of the character will receive bad status and berserk, use quinas ANGEL SNACK and it will cast remedy to all of your party members.berserk is uncurable unless u use gysahl green.
