When You Go Into The Village The First Time Don't Go And Get The Shotgun When You Get It The Chainsaw Guys Come Just Wait It Out. When You Meet The Merchant Buy The Shotgun Then When You Get Back To The Village Go To Where The Shotgun Is And Grab It So You Have 2 Shotguns And You Didn't Have To Fight The Chainsaw Guys.
Note: If You Grab The First Shotgun In The Village You Can't Get The One From The Merchant Because It Says You Have One Which You Do. Also If You Grab The Shotgun In The Village You Have To FightThe Chainsaw Guys If You Don't Believe ME Try It.

To avoid the first chainsaw fight in the first village, enter the village and and just run around killing everyone but don't go into the house with the picket fence infront (this is where you aquire the first shotgun). If you enter while everyone is still after you then it'll go to a cutsene and the chainsaw guy will come, just keep runing and killing until the cutsene with the bell and everyone leaves. Then you can enter and get the shotgun and ammo.

Althoough this is an easy way to avoid the hassel of taking care of a chainsaw, you don't get the money he drops when you kill him. But this is good for first time players or if you just wanna get through asap.

Go up to a enemy and when he/she attacks, move back quickly and move up when the enemy has the attack at END and quickly PRESS AND HOLD L1 AND PRESS X WHILE HOLDING L1 SLASH YOUR KNIFE AT ENEMYS FACE. Stun then slash when you kicked him. Slash when there on the ground.

Salazar is harder than saddler in my experience first get a powerful weapon and shoot the left hand in the eye and when salazar pops out pump him full of lead and he will dissapear repeat this process until he dies good luck

When your walking trough the place where your going to fight the''el gigante''
Later, it will be a group of birds there.
Just trow a granade ( Any kind)
All of the birds will die. (Unless your a horrible trower)
Then go collect the items.
You will get like 200 - 1000 ptas.

When your heading to the village just run to the house where the mark is
When you enter the door the cutscene and the chainsaw man will appear.
Then you push the book cases infront of the door and the windows.
Then you collect all the items and go up the stairs.
When your at the end of the stairs you will see a shotgun hanging on the wall.
Take it and collect all the items.
Then you jump out of the window (Not the window with the ladder)
And when your out on the roof, you will see a ledge.
Just run on it around the house and you will see a spinel.
Take it, turn around and wait for the enemies to come.
Then you'll just shoot them with your handgun.
Don't use the shotgun on the other enemies.
Its just a waste of ammo.
When the chainsaw dude appears.
Let him run close to you and shoot him away.
When he is lying down, just knife or shoot him.
Continue doing this untill he die.
Take his item and continue to kill the other enemies.
After a while a cutscene will appear and the enemies will walk away.

Knife: When he is using his mutated arm as a shield, just slice the arm and he will get stunned.
Continue untill he dies.
(Remember to dodge)

Rocket Launcher:

Many people says it is inpossible to kill Krauser with a Rocket Launcher.
Well, their wrong.

When he is using the arm as a shield just aim the Launcher on his knees, fire, and he will die.

When Ashley is standing on the top of a cliff or a lader and you are standing under her, just aim up under her skirt and she will call you a pervert or something like that.

When you beat the game for the second time and starts on the third you will get the ''Special costumes'' screen.
They choose the Special custome 2.
When you meet Ashley the first time she will be wearing a armor.

The armor makes her immortal.
You can't kill her, not even with a rocker Launcher.
And when enemies tries to carry her away she will be too heavy.
That makes the game much easier because you don't have to look after her all the time and you can use health on yourself.

You can also use her to avoid enemies.
Just hide behind her and the badguys will try to carry her away.
Then you can just knife them.

After killing the first ''Zombie'' in the beginning of the game you just go out of the house.
Kill the one's thats outside.
Then you go to a little house with some herbs and ammo.
You will hear a sound of a dog.
Continue and you will find the dog stuck in a bear trap.
Go close to it and press the action button.
Leon will help the dog and it will run away.
Then when your going to fight the first ''el gigante'' just fire some bullets at it.
Then their will be a cutscene where the dog comes.
The dog will distract the gigante and make it easier for you to kill the gigante

Matilda is one of the best pistols in resident evil.
Beat the game once.
When you start a new game the Merchant buying screen will pop up.
And you can buy the infine Rocket Launcher and the Matilda gun

A machinegun with unlimited ammo.
Just beat the seperate ways minigame.
It costs a million ptas, but it's worth it!

Whats better than a Rocket Launcher?
A Infinite Rocker Launcher of course!
Just beat the game once to unlock it.
Then get 1,000,000 ptas
And buy it !

When you get in the village you will either kill them first or just go to the house with the fence around it.Inside will be stairs go up the stairs and there will be a shotgun and it looks like it's in a picture.

When you fight Krauser to get the final Insignia to open the door there is a trick to killing him really fast,but you have to get the right timing.

When he is about to attack you slash his knees with your knife and he will kneel on one leg.Take out your Broken Butterfly with the Exclusive Upgrade and shoot his face.Keep Repeating until he dies

P.S. You can also just tap the shoot button with the PRL.412 and He will die(but whats the fun in that?)

P.S.S If you run out of Magnum ammo go get some over to your left when you dodge krauser at the very beginning of the fight.

When you walk into the house where the shotgun is a cutscene will start showing that Leon will have to either hold off El Salvador or neutralize him.Push the Bookcase in front of the Window that has been barred up with wood.Then Go upstairs and grab the shotgun.

Grab the money on the bed and take the Grenade in the cabinet and jump out the window(NOT the one with the ladder in front of it) and knock down the ladders,but don't jump down just yet.Go to the window that you jumped out of and turn left.There will be a ledge on the side of the house.

Go around and grab the Spinel that lies on the roof.Go on the otherside and wait for El Salvador.If anyone that is not the chainsaw man comes near shoot them with ONLY the Handgun.Save your Shotgun Rounds for Chainsaw McGee(I call him that).

When he gets near you shoot him in the head.then go up to him and when he is on the ground shoot him some more in the head.

Repeat until dead.

P.S. This wont work in The Mercinaries level:Water World with the Double Bladed Chainsaw Guy with Leon.

Throughout the game of Resident evil 4 you will come across many different animals including hawks, chickens, snakes, fish, cows and many others, you may not know that they drop some great items. If you ever see a hawk shoot them for ammo, and money. If you come across a chicken they will drop eggs if you shoot them or just follow them around. If you find a snake stab/shoot it and it will drop an egg. And if you come across a fish in the water stab/shoot it and it will replenish health the large one will also sell for 2500 PTS and the small fish for 500 PTS but the fish also take up alot of inventory space. I do not think that cows drop anything. If I find more animal droppers I will post them here.

When you go back into the village there are places for Ashley to hide, they are orangeish redish colored, they look a little like dumpsters. All you have to do is walk up to the dumpster looking things until you see a command that says R2 Hide. Press the R2 button and Ashley will hide in the dumpster things. Until you reach the Castle these dumpsters are along the way. Clear the village before calling Ashley to you, or the zombie dudes will attempt to kidnap her, and then you have to save her all over again, this time all you have to do is kill the zombie before the zombie gets to an exit point. Normally you have between 5 to 10 seconds to kill the zombie or you get the Mission Failed screen.

When you clear the village call Ashley to you and move on. Every time you see a dumpster thing, tell Ashley to hide in it and clear the area. This is a relatively long process getting through the village because you have to make sure you have Ashley in a hiding spot before attacking the zombies, some zombies will attempt to kill you both.

Once you reach the castle, there are no hiding spots for Ashely. When you fight zombies you have to protect yourself and Ashely. It sucks, but I believe it is meant to be more intense once you reach the castle.

Okay, this might be complicated. Make sure you have 500,000 or 300,000 pesetas
It a good start for selling your old weapons if you fully upgraded it. Find every treasures and ammo in every area and you will need to save it up for a fully money to sell it to the merchant really easily but save it up to the end by the boss battle against Saddler. Just try to get your favorite weapon that you want so badly. If you beat mercenaries with all of the characters you will easily rewarded the handcannon it good for bosses and subosses battles. If you beat pro first time you get the P.R.L you can do cheesy shots against the subosses and bosses like Krauser, Verdugo, U-3, Garrador, and Saddler.

Ask anyone who has beaten this game and they will tell you, that protecting Ashley while re-visiting the village was a pretty tough challenge. While re-playing the level today, I came up with some tips that can help anyone out with the level, and possibly make it easier. Alright, the first thing that you want to do, is use your hears and listen for sounds. Capcom did a good job on this part because the rain and thunder blocks out the sound of footsteps, so keep on your toes because a Ganado could be behind you and you would not even know it. As soon as you leave the church, go up into that big tower, and climb up the ladder. When Ashley climb up into the tower, tell her to wait there, this will keep her safe from any harm. Pull out your Sniper Rifle and look around that house where you get the shotgun from on your first visit, you should see a ganado around there so shoot them in the head. Then, turn left so that you are looking to the left of the church entrance, and you should see another Ganado, kill him as well. Leave the tower(leaving Ashley up there) and go onto the roof of the house where you got the Shotgun. Now, face the exit of the village with your Sniper Rifle, and zoom in all the way. If you look closely, you should be able to see the red of the Ganado's eyes even though you cannot see their bodies. Shoot them, and when they are dead, shoot the beartraps with your handgun. Go near the entrance to the village, and you should see more Ganados coming at you so go into a building and shoot at them as they try to come in. After that, call Ashley, walk past the Bear traps, and go through the exit.

Professional mode, as all of us who have beaten it can tell you, is extremely hard. Whether it is the lack of finding ammunition, the enemies taking more than 10 shots to kill, or if it's just being a whole lot stronger, Professional mode is very challenging. To not a very hard point, I could tell you about the Pueblo village, with at least 30 Ganados inside of the village that you can kill, it is hard. Some tactics that you can use to survive are to conserve ammo by killing everyone in the special way that I kill them. What you do is shoot them once in the face. After you shoot them, you should be able to kick them, so kick them to the ground and then slice their bodies with a knife while they are lying on the ground. This will save you ammo, kill them, and you have no risk of getting hurt. Go into a house, and block the door with a dresser. Now, using the handgun, shoot one or two holes in the door so that the door is still standing while you can see out. Using the hole, you can shoot people outside of it while they cannot hit you. Another tactic you can try is to save your grenades, and use them only on massive parties.

As well know, upgrading guns can cost a lot of money. If you add up all of the cost, then the cost of fully upgrading one gun all by itself can easily add up to over 1 million dollars. Each gun though, will take over 150,000 PETAS to fully upgrade that gun. When you fully upgrade each gun, you will be able to buy a special upgrade that while useful, can cost a lot of money. So what I suggest for you to do in order to save money, is to focus only upgrading one or two guns at a time. I always upgrade the Handgun first, because that is the gun that I use the most. Do not upgrade the regular handgun as you will sell it soon, but upgrade the Red 9 when you get it, because it is the most powerful handgun in the main storyline. Upgrade the Stinger Shotgun, the TMP, the Auto-Rifle, and the Broken Butterfly as well as they are the best guns to have in the game the first time you are playing through.

Once you gain access to the tunnel with the merchant beyond Pueblo, return to the farm area and wait for the chickens there to lay eggs. Exit and re-enter to begin the same process over again. After you fill your inventory, you can return to the nearby merchant to sell your eggs. White chicken eggs sell for 300 Pesetas, brown eggs for 600 Pesetas, and golden eggs for 3,000 Pesetas. It's good money, and it doesn't take long at all. Sometimes the chickens won't lay eggs, but you still the quantity you always get. White eggs you get often, brown everyone once in a while, and golden ones rarely. However, it's really good money, so I'd consider trying it. Good luck, and happy gaming. Do you know you can actually control the title screen of this game? When in the title screen prees the right analog stick to control the backgroung use R1 to zoom in and L1 to zoom out.

When killing Saddler at the very end of the game keep the rocket launcher that Ada throws to you and don't use it. When you play the game again you can sell it for lots of dough!

Before fighting Krauser go back to the shopman and get the Broken Butterfly. Fully upgrade it and it will go to 50 HP. Then go fight Krauser and all you have to do is shoot him twice, in the arm and in the chest and he will die.

Start a new game with the Chicago Typewriter in your inventory and costume 2 (the gangster costume) on. Take the Chicago Typewriter out and try to reload it. Leon does two poses. The first three times it's done, Leon will lift up his hat and grunt. The fourth time, he will throw his hat up into the air, catch it and strike an awesome pose. It has no effect on gameplay, but it looks really cool, especially after killing something, such as a boss!

I'm actually surprised this was never discovered (or at least shown here).

Hate those Gonados in the villige and military base(island) because of those swinging parasites well I just saw that is you shoot it while the big blade is not out still then you do more damage.. Also when the parasite is out don't do bodyshots at all only the parasite. A flsh grenade works too but you should then make sure many guys have their parasites exposed.

To defeat Saddler easily, you will need the Mine Thrower and either a fully upgraded Broken Butterfly or a standard Killer 7. First, shoot Saddler with the Mine Thrower, then shoot his eye with the Killer 7. This does a lot of damage to Saddler. When Ada throws the Rocket Launcher, equip it and shoot to kill Saddler. Then pick up the 100,000 pesetas he drops.

Okay remember when you have to get the sacrifice for the lion you have to go underground right.

You will see bear traps and in the skull are waiting two Dr. Salvadors.

Well first of all did they ever catch a bear or use a chainsaw down there.

And second: Even if salvador has brothers damn both those two are retarded cause the first keeps running at you refusing to use the ladders or the stairs.
And the second idiot doesnt even know whats going on upstairs you can just leave through the ladder.

I just realised that this is'nt much of a hint but it's just insulting the gonados.

To easily kill crows, throw a flash grenade in their direction.

Start a new game on the Normal Difficulty setting. When you get to the village in chapter 1-1 you will be attacked by a group of ganados (Dont go into any of the buildings otherwise he will not appear). Go to the door that leads to the farmhouse. Dr.Salvador and 2 ganados will be guarding the door. If you kill Dr.Salvador, you will get a ruby worth 10,000 pesetas.

Warning:this hint is only to the last part of the krawsetr fight on the castle not that part when he pulls out a tmp.

Collect the yellow herb and combine it with a green herb so your max health is raised then serch the top of the tower for the second peice and then you'll see a little cutscene were krawser throws away his tmp and grows a blade on his arm

Grab any wepon but your powerfulest wepon(not the rocket launcher) and start shooting krawser on his leg.
Once he goes down quicly press start and grab your powerfulest wepon(not the rocket lancher or granades) and give him a blast in the face










Tip:krawsers life is aproxemetley from 75.0 hp to 100.0 hp

This is really helpful when fighting the first el-gigante don't kill him first take the yellow herb there and use it with a green herb. Then die you will start at the same spot with the health boost but the herb will be back. Fill your inventory and then sell some to the merchant for $3000. The later ones can be sold or given to Ashley. Also it helps if you saved the dog this way you get more time to explore.

In the shooting gallery start a mission and then use the guns or grenades to shoot him. He will not get hurt at all.

First you need to wait for a los to come then shoot his knee so he is on his knees then walk up to him and press the x button and leon should fling los over his head and crack los's head open and if you do it when ashly is beihind you something hillareas wil happen and you know that it happend by ashly calling you a p*rv*rt.

Requirements:incidenary granade.
lots of shotgun ammo.



Do a phew shots to the head with shotgun,then throw an incidenary granade(if his body dousen't break then you havn't done enough shots.all I'm saying is start agian)
When he breaks go to the low pole that mendez isn't on and wait until he jumps to it, then shoot him on the head!
Do it over again and agian and he'l die.



Ps:it's imperative that you colect his eye so you can use it on the scanning machine!

After you rescue luis the 1st time,and meet the merchant for the 1st time, you have to go through an area that is partly elevated suspension bridges and partly on the ground. If you have a rifle, snipe from the hole in the wall, before you go through gate. Somtimes a ganado will run up to where you are. Pull out your pistol and deal with him. When you go through the gate, where you stand determines where the dynamite guys stop and throw at you. Go through turn left go 2 steps, do a 180 turn. Use pistol or tmp to shoot ganado that is at the top of the steps. This triggers dynamite dudes. Don't move, shoot any enemies except them. When they stop and throw dynamite it lands on steps and rolls back down blasting them and anybody else to $%#@&^%. Proceed after you have cleared these 1st dynamite dudes. Happy hunting. GamePat

When playing the mercenaries, after unlocking Wesker[waterworld 4star] use him to attack village. When you start run around & pick up all bonus time. Fight villagers as needed. Remember the barn in the main game with pile of logs in front of door? Now you can go in. Save this as your last time pick-up. Climb ladder, knock it down. Wait for room to fill up with ganados. Look to your left, there is a bonus box. Open & take bonus kill time. Look down, shoot red barrel. Usually at least 7 ganados will die. That's 7 in-a-row & 7000 bonus. Continue to knock down ladder. Wesker has many grenades use all of them. When you get down to flash grenades use rifle to shoot stunned enemys. Then continue to use rifle. Chainsaw ladies take several shoots, wait when possible for them to be one-behind -the -other. Target the one closest to you, shot will go through 1st and hit 2nd one. Every time I did this I got at least 40,000 pts. Happy hunting gamePat

In salazar boss fight run right shoot tentacle with shotgun or broken butterfly. It retracts for 30 secs.save tmp ammo for this fight.move back left shoot eye on ctr tentacle w/ tmp ,to reveal salarar behind clam shell shield. Open up with tmp.needs to be fully up-graded. When positioning leon don't go too far left as ctr. Tenticle hammers down on upper catwalk, after shield closes. Only go to bottom for health and ammo. Hurry tho spider plagas can cause you to use more than you pick up. It takes some practice, works great

Yeah, when your in the house, and all the Ganados' are trying to come in, and kill you, the best thing to do would be to cover up two windows, and leave one open so that you can still be killing things while not being overwhelmed. Be sure to help Luis, because if he gets grabbed, and you shoot the Ganado holding him, then he will return the favor later on.

When you get to the part where you must go upstairs, and fight..don't. First go cover up the other uncovered window, then go up and knock all the ladders down. Be careful because not only will the Ganados come from the windows, but a few will be sneaky, and come up the stairs.

Anyway, after you beat that part( it's easy) Luis will go off, and you will be outside pondering on the hard decision of taking the path to the left, or the one to the right. I'd suggest going left, that's the easy way. All you have to do, is kill a Gigantes, or run past it. As opposed to Fighting a Crap load of Gigantes, and the bella sisters.


That's about it.

I just saw a big piece of crap submission by the so called ' re-4 masta ' that needed to be fixed.

Beat the game on normal mode to unlock Leon's cop costume, and Ashley's popstar costume. You'll also unlock The Chicago typewriter, the infinite rocket launcher, the Matilda handgun, the separate ways(ada storyline), assignment ada, the movie viewer, and the mercenaries mini-game.

The infinite launcher, and the typewriter can be bought from a merchant for 1,000,000 each. I think the Matilda is 30,000.

Beat Separate ways to unlock Leon's gangster outfit, and Ashley's suit of armor(makes her indestructible.)

Beat Assignment Ada To unlock A Chicago typewriter, that can be used in Separate ways, it will cost 300,000.

Beat Mercenaries by getting 5 stars on each level, with each character. If you do so you'll unlock the Handcannon in the main storyline.( my favorite gun.) The merchant will give it to you for free, but It will cost money to upgrade it. When the Handcannon is fully upgraded, it will have 99 power, and have infinite bullets. More bang for your buck.

Beat the game on the pro difficulty to unlock the laser cannon P.R.L. 412. The merchant will give it to you for free, and there are no upgrades needed. It has two settings, stun/blind, and kill.

Oh, and If you have a file where you are playing the game for the second time, here's a trick. If it's on normal difficulty it doesn't matter. If you've beaten the game on pro, and unlocked the P.R.L. 412, then you can go get one on every single file you have. That's it.

When you fight salizar's right hand man the best way to kill him is to buy a rocket and when you enter the room and flip the switch the door will close go to the door and try to open it you cannot but he will come out just run past him turn right grab red tank and shoot with rocket dead.

Okay first go to the area where the novistadors are. The invisible bugs. This is right after Ashley gets separated from you in chapter 3. Keep going through the area until you arrive in a room with cells on each side, and a hole in the ceiling.

Go forward and a bug should drop down from the hole, kill it. Then go up to the cell in the top left, and a bug should bust out of it, and attack you. Kill it, then go into the cell and there should be a sink. Go to the wall to the left and run alongside it until you get to the left side of the sink. Keep running at the sink, and Leon's legs should come up really far, and go back down.

It looks funny.

Note: you have to be running at the sink. Duh.

On Chapter 3-4 when your Ashley there is a Puzzle you must solve to advance. There are 9 pieces and they are set in this order.

4 5 6
7 8 9

Simply move the pieces in this order to beat the dumb puzzle.

4, 7, 9, 3, 1, 7, 9.

Now the picture should be clear but there is a piece missing. If you got the picture off of the fireplace in the previous room, then use it, and go into the next room. If not..then go get it!

Watch out for the suits of armor!

In the castle around chapter 3-2, before Ashley gets captured, there will be a room with four paintings on the wall. And it will say the sacrifice of six lives is needed to open the door. Simply press 1 3 2 4, and the door should open. This puzzle is simple,yet can be annoying.

At the beginning of the game there is a dog that has it's leg stuck in a bear trap, if you choose to help it, it will show Leon slowly squat down, and pull apart the bear trap, then the dog remove it's leg, shake it, then run off into the woods. Altogether wasting 10 to 15 seconds of your time.

To solve this you can simply shoot the trap, and the dog will run off, skipping the stupid scene. Shot it with a broken butterfly(4th time playing pro) and it opened up, it should work with a handgun.

When you first start the game, go to the village. Before you arrive you should see three ganados run off to tell the other villagers about you. When you get to the village, and after looking through the binoculars, go up closer. But not close enough that you'll be spotted.

You should hear a male villager say something like ey hega over and over again.( something like that.)

But if you listen closely, it'll sound like he's saying 'hey fu*ka ' over and over again.

On chapter 4-1, or 4-2 there is a underground room filled with ganados, and a two story room with a Chainsaw man on each floor. Just know that you only have to kill the one on the top floor to get the key, you don't even have to bother the other one. Unless you want an extra 10k then you don't have to fight him.

What I did was just keep shooting the mine thrower in his direction. One mine hit the wall and blew, throwing him back, and letting him know that there was an enemy around. Then he went over to the ladder and just kept walking he didn't go down it, so I shot him in the head with the magnum each time he went over to the ladder.

Then I shot all the other ganados, went over and climbed up the ladder, got the key and went back down, And through the door. The other Chainsaw man had no idea what happened. Then Leon went on an exciting cart ride through the mines.

On chapter 4-1 or 4-2 there is a mine where you have to get dynamite to blow up a rock. Before you go into that level there is a merchant in a house. Buy a rocket launcher if you have the money, then use that to blow up the rock. That way you won't have to get the dynamite. And since you don't get the dynamite, you won't have to fight the chainsaw slinging Dr.Salvador.

Because a world without a Dr.Salvador is a safer world for everyone.

Okay, that was lame, oh well.

Buy tmp & get loadsa ammo for shotgun and then go to chief mendez battle keep shooting with shotgun until he breaks in half then get tmp and shoot him until he goes up to the upper level and then shoot him with with either gun (shotgun or tmp) until he is dead.

A way to kill all :

Weaklings.

Villagers: Headshots + kicks
Los Illuminados: Shot to the knee + suplex
Island Guys: The same as the LOs
Regenerator:Shooting them continously to the torso(Waste of ammo and time T_T). Infrared scope.

Mini Bosses.

Dr. Salvador (sack in the head with a chainsaw mam) : Shotgun,TMP,Magnum (combo with a flash grenade).
Garrador Mr.Iron Head no Eyes with claws and exposed parasite to the back : Rifle,Magnum,Shotgun,Minethrower(the best way is the MT).

Bosses. (ooooooooh !! Scawwwwwwy)

El Gigante (Idiot who is extremely large and has a big head and peanut sized brain): shotgun to the face,Grenades(flash),Magnum,Rocket launcher(waste of cash).

Del Lago (Oversized Alligator): Awwww Come on !! It can't be that hard !! You don't need my help on this one.

Salazar (Chipmunk voiced 20 year old who looks like a kid): Magnum to the main eye + rocket launcher to himself.

Krauser (A wimpy boss that is beaten with a Knife):Knife to the knees + knight to the head. Note : he will be at his most wimpy form at the last fight with him.

Saddler (The dude with the eye in the mouth and huge legs and a long neck): any weapon to shoot at the leg eyes and knife to the mouth. I didnt include the Bugs cause the die from a shotgun shell while in the air

When you want to choose a handgun type weapon choose the red 9 because it's power is 6,5 with the exclusive. Shotguns : the striker because the exclusive upgrade gives it 100 rounds. Magnums: the broken butterfly because the 50 power is really helpful. Rifles: Duh !!. Special : the Handcannon Because it is more lethal than the infinite Launcher Because it is more accurate and Has en extremely devastating fire power. El gigante would fall in two shots (if you shoot him in the head then the parasite at hte back) if it has the exclusive upgrade. Another hint to waste your pistol ammo because the other weapons are the ones who do the job for the boss fights.The pistol is useless unless it is an exclusive Red 9.

I've seen people mention this briefly, but not a lot. The easiest way to kill the Garrador is to simply be still, and to not make a sound. They have no eyes, so they depend on their hearing to kill the enemy.

If your quite the Garrador could walk right by, giving you the chance to slip out your gun, and shoot the plagas on his back. Also wherever a Garrador is, there will be bells around. Use these to your advantage by shooting them, and waiting for the Garrador to stab his claws through them. When he does, quickly shoot him in the back, so he won't break the bell, then repeat the process.

The best guns to uses would either be the TMP, the shot gun, or a magnum. The handgun, even when powered up would take forever, and waste your time. The TMP may not be as powerful as the handgun, but it shoots a lot faster, so that makes up for it.

Also, when your standing there, and The garrador can't hear you, it's funny to watch how they just swing at the air randomly.

Oh! Make sure Ashley is safe, because if she yells out Help! The garrador will go straight to her.

While some of you may think Flash grenades are useless, I know that they aren't.

Not only do Flash grenades blind your enemies. They can blind bosses such as the El Gigante.

They can instantly kill a plagas that comes out of a ganados' head, so you won't have to waste all your ammo.

They can instantly kill those annoying crows that have items, but never let you shoot them.

Flash grenades have lots of uses. Keep them!

Okay, if you are low on health, and on ammo do not run to the merchant, and hope that he helps you. Because he will not, he will not pull a rocket launcher out of nowhere, and start blasting. As a matter of fact, he won't even talk to you when enemies are nearby, so if you need ammo, or health, you have to kill them some other way.

The reason why the merchant won't sell you anything, is because he is a Ganados, and if the other Ganados saw him talking to you, they'd know he'd betray him, and then they'd kill him, and then you would never get to buy or sell anything ever again.

So do not go to the Merchant when Enemies are following you.

In separate ways, when your Ada, and fighting saddler this is the best way to kill him.

Run past him, and go down till your in the middle of the stage with that tube thing that Ashley was in next to you. Wait for him to come down to you, and when he does, just run around the tube thing, and get behind him. He should turn around and try to attack you, and you'll have to press some buttons to dodge it. After his attack he'll stand still for a few seconds, giving you time to run up to him, and slash him with your knife 2 or 3 times. Then simply repeat steps above.

This is the best way to kill him. The knife is his weakness just like krauser. I killed him in LESS THAN A MINUTE using this strategy, forget the guns. Hope this helps, because I hate Saddler, and know how hard he is.

to unlock the chicago typewriter and the never ending rocket luncher you must beat the game once

Easiet way to kill EL GIGANTE .buy a rocket launcher then move while distance from EL GIGANTE when situation arrives shoot him .it will save your lot of ammo.

Killing krauzer qiuckly:
When that freak is open when your timed ighting him knife does the most
Damage.

Bug cave:
Before you enter the main bit where you shoot the bridge down go out the window
To your right and up the ladder. Theres a butterly lamp there yay.

Easy way to kill un weaponed enemies:
When they come towards you jsut knife theyre knees and kick/suplex them.
If the fall to floor knife them more.

Seperate ways:
When using ada I advise don't buy the crossbow thingy, it sucks and is
Overated, I'm upto chapter 5 or 4 without buying it, it's a waste.

Mercenaries:
When using krauser(you probally guessed) If a boss etc is near you just
Use your freaky arm and kill them with that, best way.

Salazar, the midget:
Shotgun the eye until hes open then blast the Pirate with a rocket launcher.

Parasite, apart from bosses:
All die if you flash grenade them.

Regenerators:
The scope obviously, Incens work great but using the laser gun (lpr I think)
Is instant kill.

There are 3 ways to open locks in the game, they are...

1. The easyest way is to use your KNIFE. Yes I just said your knife it knocks the lock off in one hit.

2. Another way is to use your gun, but that wastes ammo so do tis sparingly.

3. The last way is to kick it but that wastes alot of time when your in a hurry so also use this sparingly.

And thats all I know about breaking locks.

When playing a game with the regular costumes after uve resued ashley just jump down a ladder and aim your gun up at her skirt if the ladder is higgh enough you can see her panties if it is really close she will cover herself and call you a pervert

When you are able to buy the never ending rocket launcher and the chicago typewriter buy the chicago typewriter it's way better trust me

If your looking to shoot up some extra zombies go to the church and shoot the church bell at the top causing it to ring. The ring of the bell makes two or three zombies come from the graveyard area. I'm not sure if it will happen each time you shoot the bell, but it should definately work the first few times.

To save ammo if you are playing in hard like me you run out of ammo quick so shooting the people in the knees until they drop then kill them with the knife. It got me all the way through the game.

How to get pass the statue

In the begining when you first get to the village don't go in through the back way and shoot the lady and go in that house. When you get there stop at where it says press x to look and keep going and proceed to shoot the people you see, stand over by the entrance, watch your back because they come behind you, keep killing by the entrance and try using your knife as to watch your ammo, once the first cutscene comes he is sending out more ppl wait for them to come to the entrance and keep killing till the bell rings and they leave. Once the bell rings go into all the houses and the backs of them and get the ammo/herbs/stoof and make sure you go into the top of that house and get the shotgun! It's very handy. Once you get the shotgun, go out the window closest to it and run round the roff and get the little red gem lookin thang then proceed to the next area.

If you go into the house instead of just killing them you will most likely have a hard time killing the chainsaw dude, 2 grenades, 4 direct hits w/ shotgun, about 20 (give or take a few) shots w/ the pistol and he killed me.

I don't even know if you can kill the chainsaw dude.. But if you can and you have tell me, and if you can have his chainsaw tell me.

My way is to have at least 3 mine thrower bullets(if you have it).Shoot the big eye wait till it explodes and exposes Salazar.Now if you have a rocket launcher you should be able to shoot him.This should kill him.

When Fighting him, my hint is to use the rocket launcher.The only thing is that it's kind of expensive.(Not to brag but every time I needed one I had the money.)

So your fighting krauser. First try not to use lots of ammo, until you get the second holy piece. Because … after you get the second holy piece, Krauser grows this shield thingy out of his arm!!! And he plants C4 on the building, and … to top it all off … you have only a few minutes to beat him!!!! AHHHH!!!! So… after the cut sceney thing. You should have loads of ammo, so shoot the shins off him until he falls down, then KILL HIM!!!! I think the best way is to use the mine thrower and attack him when he's down!!!

There is a secret place right before you face the hive and a bunch of bugs.(a bunch of bugs). When you reach the door turn right. There should be a open window go through it.follow the path until you get to a ladder climb it. Ther will be a chest with a butterfly lamp in it.to the left there is a clear veiw of the hive.this is the fun part. Shoot it and all thebugs too. Ashley will still get kidnapped though. And you may have to kill a few more bugs.collect your treasure and continue on with the game.

If you don't have a rocket launcher this can be a very hard battle if you don't know how to approach it. He will use his arm to block his head so you will need to equip a magnum and shoot him in the knees until he goes down. When he is down shoot him in the head.

When you are near the lake and need health after defeating Los Lagos, then kill some fish in the water and head over it with the boat, you can then pick them up.

When you arrive at the graveyard and killed all enemies, then aim for the church bell and shoot it, this will trigger three enemies to come over and they carry items and money, repeat as pleased.

If you play for the first time, then don't go do anything stupid at the end like selling all your weapons and/or items with the idea that it will give you a bigger score with the extra PTAS at the end, because it is not, keep the tuned weapons, since you will have all the weapons and items in the "cleared game" option.

To gain extra money, after you got out of the sewers in the castle, there will be a group of enemies doing a ritual, if they spot you, they will all run away, so in order to kill them, look down and throw a grenade to them while on top, that way they all get killed and they leave some items that give some extra money.

To have fun with Ashley (only works when she wears a skirt)...when she is near you, go up a ladder, then jump of and let her on top, then watch up and look at her, she then will say some stuff about how pervert you are :)

Sidenote: What darkgestures said about killing Krauser with the knife is correct, but you HAVE to aim for his knees when he is ready to strike.

If you want to have some fun. Try to beat the game with just your handgun or punisher. II did that and had lots of fun.

Alright, this is a hint for after you have gone through all the crates. After the gate closes behind U3, run around the rock and pick up the items (green herb, handgun ammo). Operate the gate mechanism and run in.

Operate it again and half tun. Shoot some mine darts into U3 and run. Operate the other gate and run out, operating it again to lock IT in. Half turn and pop a few magnum, shotgun, or mine darts into him. If you have run out oammo by this time, don't worry.

Run around the rock again and wait for him. Whe he clomes at you, dodge his attacks and go behind him. Get out your knife by pressing L1 and slash at his butt until he dives underground or turns around. If he does the first, dodge his attacks and wait for him to resurface. If he does the latter, he will fall first. Keep slashing and he will turn around. Get really close and slash.

Repeat this until he dies. It took me twice of him going underground, and once of him falling and turning around.

Krauser Battle(Assignment Ada)

Alright, I know the walkthrough says to use your TMP or hand grenade in assignment Ada...But I found an easier way (p.s. This also works when fighting Saddler in Seperate ways). Make sure your rifle is loaded,and your health is up.

Equip your handgun and stand behind the last line on the bridge before the barrells. Shoot the barrels and equip your rifle. Run over to the barrels. Small scene will show Krauser running at Ada with the plagas arm. Pick up the items (handgun ammo, Antisepic spray, TMP ammo), run towards he elevator shaft and half turn. Run across the bridge, and half turn again.

Dodge Kruaser's attackas, then shoot him with the rifle. When he drops to his knee shoot him again. Continue this method until he throws the flash grenade and disapears. Pick up the final plagas sample and head towards the elavator shaft. Operate it and go up, then run into the radio tower. Operate the radio and watch the cutscene to finish the mini game.

Saddler(Seperate Ways)

Ok, by now you should have bought the bowgun from the merchant at the begining of Chapter 5. If not, the rifle works just as well.

With bogun: Wait until Saddler lifts himself to your level. Shoot him with the bowgun a few times, aiming just below his chin. After a few hits the large eyeball in his mouth will apear. Runn over to him and press he appropriete action button to stab it.
Run past him and grab the bowgun bolts(3).. Run over the thfire, grab the shotgun shells(random) and jump down. Run around the thing Ashley was in and half turn.
Shoot him with your remaining bowgun olts, then equip your rifle. Pop a few in him until the eye shows again.
Again press button to stab it.

Run back upstairs and into the room beside where Ada shot the barrels in the cutscene, grab the Antiseptic spray and rifle ammom. Dodge Saddlers attack if he has made it back upstairs by this time. Shoot him with the rifle again in the hed and run out of the room. Jump downstairs again and go right, picking up the handgun ammom, red plant, and rifle ammo.

Dodge Saddler again if he attacks. Aim towards the opening and shoot him in the head again for the final time and watch the cut scene.

In the last fight with Jack K. All you need for him is 1 grenade and a rocket launcher. Normaly he would block the rocket blast with his arm but if you throw a grenade down it will stun him for a min. Letting you get the shot. So all you have to do is throw a regular grenade and right when it hurts him from the explosion shoot him with a rocket. It kills him every time.

Before you fight the big alligator thing in the lake, get on the first dock at the end and shoot the water and your in for a suprise...

The Hive
--------------
When you enter the Catacombs, Ashley will be kidnapped by a winged insect, after taking out the majoritiy of visible insects, turn your attention the the giant hive hanging above you that you couldn't possibly miss, now, release that stress and anger building up inside you at the prospect of Ashley getting kidnapped AGAIN by firing into the hive, and you'll be pleasently surprised, because when you shoot the hive enough, it will fall into the darkness below, leaving behind several pricless jewels, run around the center of the catacombs collecting the red, blue and green eyes that fell from the hive (red being least valuble whilst blue is most valuble) then make your way to the nearest Merchant to claim your cash!

Easy Winger Kills

You get annoyed with all these wingers flying around the catacombs hitting you from behind, well theres an easy way of blowing them out of the air... And it's just that, blow 'em out of the air with your TMP. Doing this will eliminate them in one shot, happy hunting!

When you complete the main game, you unlock seperate ways, when you beat that you unlock the Mafia suit for Leon, but when you play through the game again in that suit, Ashley wears a suit of armor, which can be seriously annoying at times, with all the clunking when she walks and stuff, but it comes with a few niffty attributes, those are

Added Easter Eggs/Abilities

1. When Leon catches Ashley every time she jumps down a ladder, he holds his back due to the weight of her.

2.If the enemy tries to carry her away, they drop her instantly because the armor shes wearing is too heavy

3.You get a special pose when playing as Ashley on the Key/Treasure menu

4.She becomes invincible, no attacks what so ever can hurt her! El gigantes can't crush her, second heads can bite her head off, those blind guys can't slash her head off, Regenarators can't spear her or chew her neck, but best of all... She becomes a useful ally! She can now be used as a human sheild or a distraction, for example, if you need a clean shot at a regenarator, leave her inbetween you and it and fire away! Or if there is a big group of Ganados around you, leave her there and run away and throw a grenade into the crowd, killing them all and leaving Ashley unscathed!

Missing Easter Eggs

This is the guide to the 3rd and final EG battle, in which you will be faced with 2 EGs in one room...

El Gigante Battle 3
----------------------------
There is a lever at one end of the room, this opens the lava pit in the middle of the room, but can only be used once, so be wise... Run to the lever and press X, tap X again to activate the pit, but you HAVE to wait until one of the EGs are standing on the pit cover, you can only kill one with this method, try and get the one with the helmet, as it is stronger, when the EG is flailing around in the lava stand well away, as it can drag you in, after the hatch closes again run to the platform at the far end of the room and climb up, wait until the EG starts shaking it and then slide down using the zip wire, do a 180 turn and empty a couple of clips into it's back with a handgun or TMP/Chicago Typewriter, repeat this process untill the Back burster erupts, then run infront of the EG and climb it's back to slash the Back Burster (as told in EG battle 1) repeat this about three times to kill the EG, but watch out, cause when it dies you have to dodge it as it falls or you'll be crushed by the body!

This isn't really an EG fight, but I'll put up a guide for this one too...

El Gigante Battle 2
-----------------------------
Your in a canyon barley big enough for the EG, but it's no problem, when you walk a little way down the canyon the EG will jump into the canyon behind you, there is a rock above you on a platform, shoot the platform to make it fall, if you drop oit infront of the EG it will smash through, if you hit it at the right time, the rock will fall on the EG and daze him, giving you abit of time to run, if Ashley is wearing the knight outfit (find out more in my 'Suit of Armor' hint) tell her to wait behind, the EG will focus on her for awhile, run ahead to the 1st door, it's chained up, it takes 6 kicks to open or 3 bullets, but the bullets have to be aimed right on each chain, there will be 2 cabins infront of you when you get through the door, the one nearest you has items inside, if you were fast enough, you can run inside and claim them but it's not compulsory, but the cabin further away has the key to the gate at the end of the canyon inside, run into the cabin, get the key and get out as fast as possible, by now Ashley will have escaped and followed you again, with the EG close behind, make Ashley follow you again and break down the next gate, run through to freedom...
(This is one of two path you can take, to take the EG path, use the right gate, if you go through the left gate, you'll enter the pit wich is filled with Ganados and the Bella sisters, the two chainsaw hags).

Okay, so El Gigante (EG) is a big monster, but it's actually easy to take out, on your 1st encounter, the EG will be pretty weak, but I'll give you the best form of attack...

1st EG fight
--------------------
Make sure you helped the dog caught in the bear trap earlier in the game, cause this is were he comes into play, to begin with spray the EG with your TMP, and the back burster will protrude after a few clips (depending on the power of you TMP) of course, your 1st thought would be to equip your shotgun or sniper rifle and blast away, but theres an easier and more effective way of doing it, run infront of the EG and hit X when promted to, Leon will climb onto it's back and slash the Back burster repeatedly, the faster you tap X, the more damge you'll do, after the 1st time you coax out the back burster, the dog will arrive, drawing the EG's attention to it, making it completely oblivious to your actions, you can do 1 of 2 things during this period, either collect all the items around you or, get close up and shoot the EG with your shotgun, after awhile the dog will stand to one side and leave the fight to you, the EG will now throw rocks at you and swing trees, these are easy to dodge, repeat the 1st step and blast him with the TMP then attack the back burster with the knife, after about 3 cycles, he should die, also the dog will draw the EG's attention to him again if your getting your ass kicked so, happy trails!

When your in the castle and you go through one of the doors there will be a cut scene where ashley gets taken by a flying bug. If you get here, here is a handy cheat when you killed all they but and you brake down the bridnge DONT!

Go through the door instaid get either a mine launcher or a rocket launcher and shoot the BIG blob at the top of the ceilin (honestly you can't miss it) when you dothat a couple of times a cut scene will start of it falling.

Then there will be 1 blue eye, 3 red eyes and 4 green eyes so make sue yu don't sell the butterfly lamp because you can sell it for ALOT if you combine it with the coloured eyes.

After your fight with El Lago (the big fish thing) you can return to that dock. There will be items there and also some collominos (wierd dog things with tentacles sticking out of there backs). Instead of wasting ammo, run back to the boat and chuck spears at them. That way, you can get whatever they drop without using any of your stuff. Hope this helps!

The first time you enter the hut area (where you fight the first El Gigante), you will see a flock of birds. Toss a flash grenade at the center. All the birds will die and you will get 1500 to 3500 pesetas and another flash grenade. (if you don't have a flash grenade hit as many as you can with a shotgun or toss incendiary or hand grenades) If you don't get them all, exit and re-enter the area. The ones you've killed will be gone but the ones you missed will still be there. Also, there are handgun ammo x20 and spinel x2 in that area. Hope it helps!

When your going for the Queen's grail and your about to enter the room with the portraits of her, don't go through the door instead get close enough so you can see the red lights but not enough to trigger the cutscene you can shoot out the red lights before the cutscene begins and the ceiling drops

To get all these guns you must beat the game on normal, at the main screen go to load game and load the new round slot.

The first time you face a wolf, ya know the one with the plagas on it's back, run back to the boat you just got off of and get on. The wolf can outrun you but can't attack you, I don't think. Anyway just hop on the boat and harpoon him.

I heard from my friend you can get a mafia style thompson with infinant ammo by beating seperate ways. It might not be right, or you might have to do it on pro, or somthing but verify this if I'm right. Oh but you buy it at the shop and it cost's 1,000,000 so save your money.

I know people think Resident Evil 4 doesnt really have cheats...

Well I know one. To get started you have to beat the main game (not that hard right) then when you unlock assignment ada you need to beat that too after you beat assignment ada you get the chicago typwriter (power 10.0 automatic machine gun with infininte amo....

Yes you heard me infininte amo) to buy from the merchant in a separate ways REPLAY MODE for 300,000 p.. Well that may seem like alot but sell all you're stuff except the blacktail at the beginin and hunt around for treasure if you didnt have enough (remember to always conserve amo with the handgun by kicking and knifing) once you get enough (it shouldnt take you that long).

Buy the chicago typwriter and at the place (chapter 2) were you shot all the blue madalions in the main game there should be a dog (usually behind the barn) THE SECOND TIME YOU VISIT (after the cutscene were leaon and luis are carried on ganodas back).

That dog may seem invincable to you at first when you keep shooting it but when you have an infininte amo gun he isnt. So just keep shooting him (it will take a while but it's worth it) and when you stop shooting and the dog barks at you when you a little close thats means you're done.

Well not really what that means is when you start a new round main game the dog in the bear trap will leave 1,000,000 p. (yes 1 million) when you let him go and also help you fight el gigante.

Now you can spend that 1 million wherever a merchant his. Im so handy arnt I.

Ok this isn't much but it will help. To get some more good stuff like $700,incenarary grenades, and ammo. Shoot the birds like the crows ans stuff. At the begining of the game when you see your first crows shoot them you will get $700 and an incenary grenade.

Ok this was my favorite and boss and one of the easiest ok make sure you have a mine launcher with 10 ammo run over to the right side with the tenticale attach a mine to it and it should go in then shoot the eye of the monster salazar is in with the mine thrower after that take out a rocket launcher and blow him up he's litterly the easiest boss do that and you'll never get stuck on him like me this was the first Resident Evil game I ever played and I beat Salazar on my first try when everyone else is saying you have to be a more experianced player to beat him I beat him on my first try and so can everyone else

When you are in the cabbin that you fight the angry mob just after getting Ashley, shoot luise about six to eight times and there will be a movie. He shoots Leon and Leon dies.

On the last boss battle, you battle Saddler in the form of a giant spider, to stun him easily, use a mine thrower but shoot him from a distance, not to far from him because he can get back up very fast, when he is down run up to him and press climb. Just keep repeating the process until Ada throws a special rocketlauncher to you. You can finish him off with the rocket launcher.
P.S. Make sure you have enough ammo for the mine thrower.

If your playing on professional mode DON'T KILL THE MERCHENT HE WILL STAY DEAD!!!!!

When any plagus come out of villagers or the knights heads throw a flash grenade near them and they will instantly die.Also when your trying to kill someone shoot their feet and then slash them with your knife

P.s to get out kinife press L1

When your low on ammo use your handgun and shoot crows they have really usefull items like the one on the wooden sighn just before the dog has a grenade

Simply use a flash grenade. This also works for the villagers when they regrow thier heads.

Killing Regenerators If you run out of rifle bullets get a TMP and just shoot all of the body until you hit the parasites try to shoot the arms off if possible.

An Easy Way Of Killing Salazar Get a Rocket Launcher and a Striker shoot the eye with the Striker and when the blue Salazar comes out shoot him with the Rocket Launcher he will die.

The Hard Way Jump down and hide in a corner so you can just see the blue Salazar when he comesout and when he comes out shoot him with a Mine Thrower.

After you get you neck chocked by the village cheif Mendez you can enter his room again in the next chapter do so and you will see a bonus scene with who else Ada she will save you from Mendez. It's not too importand but what Mendez does to chase her is funny

Use your mine thrower and shoot it into the heads and when the parasites come out just throw down a hand grenade and they will die.

This is the bit where you get the kings grail.

when in the boss battle with ada vs. saddler i found it help th shoot not where the dot (laser line) is but to aim a little bit over his head and fire hope it helps

Don Perdo's the guys with the heads that swing ( small heads) they can't stand light soo hit them witha falsh gernade

At the end of the game, there will be a lift. A scene will start where Leon says "Something isn't wright." He makes Ashley stay in her place while he goes up the lift. Saddler is at the top and transforms into a giant monster. The monster has a head with an eye in it's mouth. It also has an eye on each leg. Most of the time the eyes on his legs are closed and the one in his mouth is always closed. There is of course a certain way to kill him. If you try to shoot him the bullets will bounce off except if you hit Saddler's body, but don't waste your ammo doing that because it doesn't do a whole lot of damage. There are a few things I need to explain. One, there are 2 bridges that keep opening and closing. Two, there are two sides. Three, On each side there is a small ladder that leads up to a swich. When you start, remember to try to conserve your ammo, and stay away from him as much as you can. You will need a rifle, and a shotgun. There are actually many ways to kill him. There is one explosive barrel on each side. Run behind one far enough so you don't get hurt from the explosion, then wait until he is next to it and shoot it. It will show a small scene where the monster is hurt really bad. He will open the eye in his mouth and lower it to ground. Quickly run up and shoot the eye with shotgun. After that climb up the small ladder and operate the switch. He will look behind him to see where Saddler is. Stand there untill Saddler
Is near the railroad tracks. Then pull it.

A crane will swing and smash him. Then his eye opens again. Quickly shoot it and jump down. If you miss, you can do it again but it takes a few seconds to be ready again and once you hit him you can't do it again. Run over the brige. It might fall so get ready to press two buttons to jump. Once you get to the other side, turn around and get out your rifle. He will try throwing railroad tracks at you so get ready to dodge. When he is just standing there, Shoot the eye on one of his knees if it is open. Keep doing this until he jumps over. Get behind the barrel like before and shoot it when he is next to it. Again shoot his eye and run to the other side and climb up and operate the switch
Again. Wait until he gets to about the same distance as before and hit him with the other crane.

When you hit him shoot his eye and jump back down. Keep running back and fourth to each platform and shoot his knee's eye then his mouth's eye. Once you do enough damge, a scene will show Ada Wong. She gives you a extremly high powered RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade). It will kill Saddler in one hit, SO DON'T MISS. You can also keep it for later use or sell it to a merchant when you start a new game for 60,000 money, but I used it. I'm not sure how you beat him without using it, but you problably use the same way with the rifle or shotgun utill he dies. Good Luck!

In the castle after you see saddler kill Luis and get Ashley back go back to the area before the maze.

There is a locked door with chests inside the room.With help from ashley you can get in here.(If you have played sepriate ways you know the room.

I mean the room with the hourglass.)

Anyways in the chest in the middle of the room is a FREE broken butterfly.

P.S. You still gotta uprgrade it though.

This is an easier way to defeat Krauser. You should use your knife,
Slash him and the bastard will use a smoke bomb to escape.

Of course, using your slasher isn't sufficient to defeat him.

You can use any type of your raging guns (whichever you prefer).

When beating salazar's buggy image, you have to run under him, i dont know why he can't use his big eye on the knee (what a shame), he don't get to notice you and once youve done this perfectly, shoot him with your full blast.. whaha and the poor salazar will creep his way to death. you need to shoot his big useful eye on the knee. thanks

Ada will give you keys for the jet ski you need to dodge rocks and rubble and there will be a cut-scene then a wave will be after you if you are to slow, you will flip over.

I got on the ground floor and used a rifle or smg to shoot the tentacle thing in his big ugly eye, do this a few times and it will open up a pod and a deformed looking salazar will be sitting there. Equip your rocket launcher, bust a cap into salazar's swollen brain. Hope this helps!

Bosses with parasites are easier to kill by just shoot the parasites
Dont bother jumping on them and stabbing them
Jus shoot the bloody thing

The first time its easy just balst him in the head with the shotgun until the parasite comes out of his back then hit(x) to jump up then hit (x) to start slicing it (hint) in the beginning save the dog he'll help you out later in the battle by distracing the giant.

I HATE SADDLER. It's easy but takes time and patients keep shooting his eyeball kees or using exploding barrels or the one time use each swining bars and stabbing his big eye until ada gives you the Special Rocket Launcher use this but aim at his eye if you are far away if you are close it wont matter.

O.K. To kill both of these big bastards you must climb up the ladder and when they try and shake you off slide down and it should tell you to hit X do this and wait till the monster is over the pool and hit X again. It may take a couple tries.

Leon is probably the hardest of all to win with and on level one and four because of the instant kill from the chainsaw killers BUT they can be easy. Of couse the exploding barrel helps but that can take a while and you are time limited. Now an easier way is to climb some where high and use the shot gun th blow them off the fall should harm them some but very little, and the knee head comb works wonders too.

By now common knowlage and common sense but for not so smart people here it is did you know that if you buy the treasure map and get ALL the treasures and don't sell ANY of them till the end you shoud have enough to buy the Infinate Rocket Launcher.

The P.R.L. 412 Laser Cannon can be won by winning the pro level BUT you can only use it on the pro level.

READ ALL OF THIS BEFORE PLAYING
You know that hint that says to use a shotgun? Well there is an easier way!

Take out your mine thrower and hit the tentical on your right now hit the one with the eye (for best results hit it directly in the eye).

It should open up so you can whip out your rocket launcher and kill that midget mother f*****.

Ok guys if youre ver stuck on killing Salazar the midget in a Buccaneer costume whos 20 well heres how to do it.

As you may know him and his bodyguard (which looks like Predator) go into a giant plant thingy and they come out Salazar a tiny weird thing and the bodyguard which is just a giant head and two big plant thingys.

Ok first of all when you look on the bodygurads monster face it has an eye shoot it (hint:go into this battle whith plenty of ammo) it could recoil leaving Salazar vulnerble to shoot.

I reccomend using the Striker then when Salazars vulnerable get your rifle out and aim for the big pus thing on his neck. REMEMBER those arm things swing at you so press the on screen prompts to dodge (spuare and x and L1 and R1.

If you waste out of ammo or are low on health down and these spider things come at you shoot them to get ammo health and grenades ( grenades aernt useful here).

There are also barrels find shotgun ammo mostly your striker is veryy important if you have a grenade laucher this is good because it adds to the more chance of killing it. Keep doing this process till you kill him.

(Please note sometimes the bodyguard will turn it's head and open it's mouth if you get in the way of it youll be killed instantly).

I haven't completed it I'm only on the island on 09/11/05 it took me 12 times!!! Till I found this method out.

You have to be an experienced Resi player before playing this game.
